Is this appropriate for a 2 year old boy

My daughter received it as a gift at birth and I gave it to my nephew as a baby shower gift. It is not necessarily "inappropriate" for a 2 year old, but might be a little baby-ish. For a 1 year old or under, it is super adorable and soft for them to play. The baseball makes a batting and crowd noise which is my favorite. But for a 2 year old boy, he'd likely be bored by it. I would think at 2 he will want something a little more interactive. But it is a very cute baby gift.

My daughter is going to be two, are these too young for her?

I really can't answer for your child as each child is different. This toy was given to my three year old granddaughter. She loved the purse like carrier and the sweet little plush starfish, seahorse, mermaid, dolphin. She still plays with it even at almost four. Hope this helps answer your question.

Bought this for my newest grandson! He was born in December 2022. He is the little brother, his older brother is almost 3 years old and is totally into tools. A little bit of jealousy because of the new kid on the scene-stealing some of the attention from the now big brother. But with this gift, the older brother was excited for his new brother to get his own tools. He took each tool out and explained to his new little brother what each tool was for like only an almost 3-year-old could do! The set is very soft and bright colored. Even my older grandson could tell it was a baby toy, but a good baby toy for his brother.And finally, a baby toy that was enjoyed by both brothers. Very well made! Worth the price! I think my younger grandson will enjoy the toolset as he gets older so he can be like his older brother! Definitely a big hit!
