Ekena Millwork PB04X10X01CL Classic Plinth Blocks, 4 3/8"W x 9 5/8"H x 1 1/4"P, Primed

I was really excited to add these to my doorways, but after several attempts to get the RIGHT ones, we just gave up. We ordered them multiple times and each time they would send some of the right ones, and then some that had diamonds on the front instead. I contacted amazon and TRIED to get them returned and replaced, but could not ever get a return label to print. They sent me a replacement set, and 1/2 of the replacement set was also wrong and had diamonds on the front! I ended up getting charged for ALL of the replacements and the ones I wanted and am now stuck with a bunch of diamond plinth blocks that I will never use that I had to pay for. Since we need like 50 of these, the chances that we would get the right ones was too slim to keep ordering. I am so disappointed. Hopefully amazon fixes this issue, if they did I would buy again because they would look great once painted and installed.

I used these for stairway trim, one side flush on the floors, the other side cut at the staircase angle. They really look good and I installed with insta-grab adhesive.. not going anywhere. The surface is Not perfectly smooth like PVC which is PERFECT. One light coat of semi-gloss and these match the other woodwork perfectly. They look just like wood and you can lightly sand if needed. They cut great, no chip-out issues and you can cut off 1/2 saw blade width without problems. Good job Ekena engineers!

This is a nice product, but we decided to go with another style for our remodel. Having it already primed was a bonus and I wish it would have worked for us better. Would buy again.

This is a super lightweight urethane foam product. I bought four and a couple of them had little chips. They painted nicely and I was able to sand out any chips once a primer coat was on. Used them on a large scale bookcase wall unit and they added nice detail. Mine are up high, would not use them close to the floor where they would have more wear and tear.
