Deep valuable insights on Karma
Sadhguru's insights on Karma & life were valuable as usual. There are a lot of new knowledge which I didn't know before but sometimes it gets a little too complicated for a normal person to understand the content & it's meaning in the book.

Never going to take the word karma in vain again...
Karma – A yogi’s guide is exactly as the title suggests. It debunks and reorientates the nefarious use of the word karma to its original Sanskrit definition. As the word itself has been adopted across global languages to mean ‘reap what you sew’ or ‘get what you give’, the word now has a pernickety and self-righteous flavour to describe cause and effect. As Sadhguru points out, this is a misuse of the word; it’s a shallow definition of something as complex and multifaceted as karma. So, what is Karma? According to yogi’s, it’s the entire sum of your past experiences, your conscious memory, your unconscious memory, your ancestral memory, your genetic memory, your energetic memory, and so on. There are in fact, so many layers of karma its bewildering. To reduce it down to a fatalistic Johnny hit me, so down the line, someone hit Johnny in return, is far too simplistic and disables the complexity, subtly and poetry that the real definition describes. This book slowly, gently introduces the reader to these layers of karmic complexity. Taking the shallow definition into the deep waters of consciousness, it provides a yogic window of knowledge into existence beyond our ordinary sensorial mind. Sadhguru allows us to contemplate our lives not just as relational beings but as a majestic tapestry of meaning and connection. Once you unpick the layers of karma, he takes you on a wild ride to the source of existence, the yogic way.But he doesn’t leave it there as an intellectual or philosophical discourse on karma, he adds in tools of sadhana or spiritual practice, to help the reader soften up their karmic loads and approach life with more emotional and psychological freedom. In this case, knowledge is power. Sadhguru says “Karma means your life is your making, Karmic accumulation can either be a boost or a burden, it’s your choice.”The book is strung together by a series of sutras, it’s not like reading Patanjali where the meaning of a sutra is often ambiguous, rather the sutra is unravelled in the following chapter, so that complex notions of karmic structures across time and space are more easily digested. Importantly, it’s an entertaining read, filled with anecdotes, jokes and personal reminiscences, all of them providing some example of how karma works day to day, practically, making it a book that is not just for yogi’s or serious spiritual practitioners, but for people who wish to dip their toe in the deeper waters of life. When asked why he wrote this book, Sadhguru said. “Karma is your survival and bondage, if you handle it right, it can also be your liberation.” He is a guru, he means to liberate people after all.Is it feel good, comforting and life affirming? Not particularly. But it is mind altering, meaning if the precepts described in this book are fully understood and applied, life can and will become more joyful, and equanimous. If we can consciously craft our destiny by understanding and dealing with our karma, as Sadhguru suggests, then doesn’t life become much more meaningful and beautiful?

Gripping! .... “Karma” now a word to be embraced vs feared!
A magnificent explanation of this terrifying subject. Beautifully explained allowing the listener to absorb the magnitude of the age old word we all fear but without reason, understanding nor experience. Soothing yet thought provoking in the best possible way. Loved it so much I had to download the audio book too. As a magic to the book to hear the Author himself.

Probably the most profound book I'll ever have the pleasure to read.
Sadhguru is a true master of the human body and mind, this book has turned my whole understanding of many aspects of life sideways, and rebuilt my fundamental belief foundations stronger than ever (like most other books of his I've read so far), a fascinating breakdown on processes of mind-body, life energies, and the more esoteric astral related topics put in a very structured and easy to read form. This book is an absolute must for individuals of any interest in understanding the true way of life's nature.

Pearls of wisdom throughout the book for seekers wanting to know more
This term Karma is often referred to as the balence of good and bad, a record kept by some accountant sitting "up there", is totally dispelled by Sadgurus profound insights and precise understanding. He clearly and simply explains this complex subject in its various physical and non physical forms, in his unique way. A must read for any seeker or anyone who has ever asked the question "why me", I'm so glad he has written this book in such plain English for people like me.

Excellent
Life changing. Life will never be the same after reading this book. But in a good way. You will get yourself distant to all the rubbish that worries you know when you realise all these is not important as you are just a bag of KARMA. But also when you find out you can overrule it and take a your life where you want to. Brilliant
