This company gets it! THIS is how a product should be made
The first four attached photos show the custom rack I made from two of these (see below), and the fifth is a rack installed on a standard door, right out of the box.I wish more companies put as much thought, time, effort, and quality into their products as HomeBuddy does!If you're looking for this type of organizer, THIS is the one to buy.I bought a similar-looking storage system for maybe $5 less than the cost of this one and it was a complete waste of money. Sure, it works, but it's flimsy as can be and will likely fall apart very soon. This HomeBuddy organizer is everything a product should be and they took the time to think about what people actually need. It's sturdy, well-built, and includes everything you need to most installations.First, unlike most, this one came with three different size door hooks to fit various door thicknesses. Most people will be installing something like this on an interior door, and most interior doors are 1&3/8"-1&1/2". Most of these types of products come only with 1&3/4" hooks that are too thick for interior doors, so they just expect you to use them and have extra hook sticking out or for the rack not to sit flush against the door, depending on which side you're mounting it on. The hooks that came with this one fit perfectly and allow the rack to sit flush to the door, with a clean, finished look on the outside. The door opens and closes without any problems. They also included protective felt pads that line the entire interior surface of the door hook, eliminating any possibility of damage to the door. The hooks are also very sturdy steel and do not bend, so the rack does not pull away from the door at the top. In addition, they included separate mounting hardware if you want to mount the rack to the wall or other surface using screws. Other racks just give you one set of hooks that you can snap off if you want to wall mount, making them very weak and easily bent. The design of this system is far superior, with my only small complaint being that I wish the over door hooks where longer, allowing the rack to hang down 3-4" more from the top of the door. As it is, you can't put much in the top basket without it interfering with the top door jamb. The next thing I love is that the poles insert into each other and lock in place securely with locking clips on both sides. Once assembled, the rack is solid and sturdy. This is not the case with others I've bought. It took just minutes to assemble, with no tools required. Anyone can do it and everything is clearly labeled. The baskets are roomy and sturdy. They are not adjustable, but you can choose to remove one or more to allow for taller items. The set also comes with both felt pads and double-stick tape for the bottom pieces that sit against the door. I found that this rack is so sturdy that I only needed to apply the felt as the rack does not move or pull away from the door when I open or closet it. This too is very different from the cheaper one of these I bought, which wouldn't even stay attached to the door with the double-stick tape. This further speaks to the high-quality of this product.Since installing this, I have already ordered two more, and will likely order a third to replace the other crappy one I've been referring to in this review.I highly (highly) recommend this product! It is well worth the price.6/13/2022 - made a custom rack! Some additional information. We have a pantry that has a 96" solid core door, for which we bought one of these racks. I wanted to utilize the entire door, so I ordered a second one and used parts from it to build a custom rack, which is about 90" or so long.I started with the first rack installed in place, then removed the bottom two poles (L4 and R4) from the rack. I then removed the two screws from each that hold the plastic end caps in place. Once removed, I drilled those four holes out to the same size as the holes in the other poles that hold the spring buttons in place. I re-installed those two poles onto the existing rack, and then added an L2 and R2 pole onto that, and then an L4 and R4 pole to that.At the original 60" length, the rack is plenty sturdy and holds itself out from the door just fine, without bowing. However, now that I've added another 30", it wanted to bow inward a bit. To resolve this, I used a 3/4" hole saw bit to drill through two spare end caps, drilling from the inside through to the outside. The bit fits perfectly and stays aligned, making a good, clean cut. The result is what I now call two 'standoffs'. I then drilled the screw holes on the end caps to the same size as the holes I drilled earlier, so that the spring buttons can fit through them. I then disconnected the rack poles at around the mid-point (where our door is smooth), and inserted them through the pole, then re-attached the other section, so that the poles are going through the end caps. Finally, I moved the two 'standoffs' so that they aligned with the spring buttons, which keep them in place. Note, I applied the felt pads to the back of these, so they won't scratch the door.To finish this off, I used the two wall mounting clips through the bottom end caps, and secured them to the door with the included screws, which keeps the rack firmly in place when the door is opened/closed. Note, I started with the self-stick tape, but it came loose after a day. No problems now though. For this install, the pole sequence I used is: L1, L2, L3, L4, L2, L4 (use 'R' poles for the right side.) You could probably mix and match to some extent, depending on your needs, but this worked best for our situation. The L1 and L4 poles have the same basket spacing, just with the ends being different (male/female), so adding an L2 onto an L4 is the same spacing as putting L2 after L1. Where I attached L4 onto L2 makes those two baskets slightly closer, but not a big deal and works just fine. Using L3 in place of L2 made the spacing worse, so this was the best option. We now have a 9-tier rack that utilizes the entire door. It looks very custom, is solid, and adds a significant amount of storage. We have also bought a couple more of these to use on standard size doors and they work great right out of the box.

The Baskets
This unit is fantastic. I actually am using it in my craft room to organize my supplies. The baskets are heavy duty and latticed so items do not slip through. It was easy to assemble and has different size door hangars so it is sure to fit multiple depth doors. I haven't filled mine yet, I just assembled it and hung it, but I will post pictures when I finish putting my craft goods in it, which I am anxious to do, but football is on tonight! Bears and Patriots. Got to run!Update: I just bought another one for my craft room! Incredible unit which holds so much. The first one I bought I used over the door. The second one I mounted on the wall. I am OCD when it comes to organizing and these units make my organizing so easy. Love them!

Extremely useful, had to get two
Extremely versatile especially for drying and sorting purposes, not just storage organization. Feel free to take each tray of the rack and move things around! Storage solutions are better the more modular you're able to use em and I can't recommend this door hanging rack system enough. slightest caveat: the larger spice containers that you would expect to fit in the trays do so in width but not in length - you can only get five (and a half) containers in, then cushion with shorter slimmer spice containers. That's how I do it. Also, rack likely not suitable at that density for anything heavier than spices (keep in mind, and fact it's also hanging on a door). I love it, bought two.

Really great shelf with space limitations
Bought this to replace a flimsy cloth over the door shelf that fell apart. This one is much better designed. Easy to assemble and hang, and much sturdier and more attractive than the previous sloppy cloth one.Only gripe is that I use it to store cleaning supplies and almost all of my bottles are too tall to stand upright. So I either have to lay them on their side or take a couple shelves out to create more height for the bottles. Distance between shelves wasn’t indicated in product photos…not a deal breaker and doesn’t take away from the quality of the shelf which is great. Probably more effective as a pantry shelf or for other shorter items.

Great and simple to put together!
Great piece and pretty sturdy! I like that there were felt stick ons for the over door hooks and base. It also came with stickies to stick the bottom base to the door. But I opted out because I think once items are placed in the baskets it won’t move much. Didn’t move much even when empty. A heads up: read the labels (L and R with numbers) on the connecting poles carefully and the directions to save you time and trouble. They tell you Left vs Right and the order from top to bottom how to connect. Also, they are specific with a picture which side of the baskets go against the door vs facing out. Overall, it was super easy to assemble and will work well for my bathroom linen closet door. The only thing to note is that the baskets are not adjustable to move around. As some have said, the top basket is pretty close to the top of the door. It didn’t bother me much; I’ll just place shorter things up there. For myself, I’m very happy with the product!

Surdy and Easy to Install as Advertised
This item was very easy to install and it works great. Also, really like that the trays can be easily removed. I store my cookie cutters/chocolate molds in the top most tray and can pull it down when I need it, then easily return it. Feels very sturdy and I liked that it came with different widths on the door hangars and had pads to protect the door. There was one that fit my door perfectly. I learned not to pull the protective tape completely off the double stick protective pad as the hangar I needed didn't require the full piece of tape. It is rounded on one end so I started sticking there and had trouble getting the tape in the rest of the way with the first one because it wanted to stick elsewhere. The second time I only removed the 'starting, or rounded' end and was able to easily get it stuck to the hook then peeled the remaining tape as I applied it. That worked much better. Then just trimmed off the excess.
