Overall, this is a solid piece of tech. It adheres very strongly and has so far not even budged during temperature fluctuations. I think the material is also a plus and should last a good while. However, this car mount suffers from the same problem as every other one I've ever tried.Over time, the weight of your phone will slowly 'droop' as you drive. The ball joint isn't stiff enough to hold the phone in one place... it does at first but after a few uses it inevitably begins to lose any stiffness it once had. I have mine placed on the windshield of my vehicle (where you'd normally have your oil change reminder), and have found a way to keep the phone from moving by placing it so the top portion rests on the window brace, so it can't really move.Honestly though, it's a good product overall. Just be aware that pretty much any modern smartphone with a case will not hold in place for very long, and you'll have to adjust as you drive. Not a huge deal, I'm not returning it or anything, but something to bear in mind if stiffness is something you were after. Perhaps your mileage will vary depending on where you put it on your dash.

This magnetic holder works better then some regular ones. It's very simple to install on the dash and your phone but make sure you have a flat back or a case without ridges on the back or it won't work. I just installed it on my phone back and when I'm not using I keep it under my case and when in use I take my case off

I was really excited for this mount but it fell a little short of impressive.The good:The magnet is impressive and holds my Pixel 2XL without issue.The arm is movable so you can point it exactly where you want.The bad:The adhesive that comes with it is horrible. I cleaned and prepped the area it would stick to and it only lasted about 3 minutes (without a phone on it) before it fell off. I used the second piece of adhesive tape that came with it and the same issue occurred. Lasted a little longer, but still couldn't hold my phone.I had to go out and buy 3M heavy duty double sided tape in order to get it to stick to the dash. Even then, it's not the most stable. The arm vibrates quite a bit when on a rough rode, making the phone shake which makes it annoying to look at.I think the base is just too narrow for a heavy phone. It peels the adhesive tape off too easily. If it was more square shaped instead of rectangular, I think it would be much more stable.Overall:Give it a shot if you want. If you have a smaller phone, it might be ok. It's not too expensive. I probably wouldn't suggest it to any of my friends/family because it's taken additional money to get it to kind of work.

Someone recommended this mount for my phone and after getting repeatedly frustrated over not having a proper place for my phone when in my vehicle, I decided to get this and I have not regretted it at all!The adhesion on the base of the mount is very solid and doesn't show any signs of weakening even as we get into the summer and the magnet in the mount is super strong. It came with strips that you can attach to your phone so that the magnets catch it. I attached one of them to the back of my phone, not realizing that an attachment on my phone case would also be held by the magnet. I mostly use my phone case, and the magnet holds that pretty securely but it's stronger when sticking directly to one of the strips provided.If/when I get a car in the future, I will definitely be purchasing another one.

Well I'm finally dumping my vent based cell phone holders. It takes some time to find the right surface for mounting this unit, but I've found the adhesive patch to adhere to bother spongy vinyl and high gloss moulding. Now, no more grabbing my phone in a hurry and realize I'm walking thru the parking lot with the vent mount hanging onto my cell.

This is the second kind of phone mount that I have purchased in the past 2 weeks. I have a Jeep Wrangler and the dash doesn't really have a great spot to put the mount, and for some reason the adhesive will NOT stick to it. I tried cleaning it and drying it and it still would not stick. I wound up sticking it to the glass on the very left side of the windshield where I ~hope~ it won't obstruct my view too much. I only gave it 4 stars because of the inability to stick it to my dash, but otherwise it seems like a solid product! I have a lifted 4 door wrangler so I'm curious to see how it will hold up.

We've been using this mount for nearly a year and it's been great! Comes with extra steel plates in a couple sizes, which was handy.We followed the directions to apply it and allow it a day to fill adhere. It went through Maine winter and summer with no adhesion issues.Has VERY strong magnets. Of course, since these types of mounts don't have a cradle, the phone shakes a little more with the car than with a typical cradle mount. But not once has the phone been able to jostle free from the mount -and we've gone through *many* rocky, unpaved roads, as well as pot-hole laden streets.Overall, this is a great magnetic mount. Only draw back for us is that when it's not being used, the logo FLOVEME is very visible. Other than that, we really like it.

The unit was packaged well and came with the mount, 3 different magnets to put against your phone, as well as an extra adhesive strip. I cleaned the surface with an alcohol prep pad to ensure the strongest adhesion. The first adhesive strip hardly did much and I immediately had to use the second one provided. The mount adhered well to the surface of my dashboard well and I applied constant pressure for a few minutes to try to get the best hold.After having it mounted to my dashboard for about 3 days, the mount is already starting to peel from the dashboard. The surface I have it mounted to is slightly curved so, even though the mount itself will curve with the surface, this will detract from the strength of the bond. I have no confidence that the mount will last through the week. Because I like the mount itself, my goal will be to find a stronger adhesive to use instead of the one provided.

You can't really complain for the price. I bought a $40 phone holder at best buy that was an absolute waste of money. The only problem was with the original sticker base the mount came with (they do send 1 back up sticker base). The original sticker did not stick very long to my cars dash surface after cleaning the area, etc. Took about 3 weeks for it to fall off, however the 2nd sticker base they send seems to be stronger for some reason. Overall I'm still satisfied with the product and the mobility of the phone. Magnet is very strong.

This magnetic mount is great but the adhesive doesn’t stick on curved surfaces as advertised. I am only on a slight curve too and it won’t stay attached flat on the surface. It seems secure though, despite this, just not as clean of a look if it would adhere to the surface completely

Finally got my phone mount installed. (Waited for time to clean all interior, so it took me awhile. Installation was quick and easy!) I realize my choice of final location to install is questionable, but my vehicle is old, cd player no longer works and I never change my radio station... and this was the best spot for me! I have a card holder on the back of my phone, so I placed the larger, rectangular metal piece inside the case. The magnetic hold is great!! Holds my phone with case perfectly in the best position for me!!! It's not intrusive/in the way... looks great! This has worked out better than I expected. So pleased I found this particular phone mount for my vehicle and phone. Would definitely recommend and purchase again should I need too!

I purchased this to fit in an empty, thin slot in my dash and this fit the bill. I gave it 4 stars because the 3M tape that comes with it is of low adhesion quality. I used my own 3M double sided tape reated at super strong.

I went to the trouble of removing a similar, but shorter, product from my last car so I could reuse it in a new one. However, the new car's dash area where I wanted the mount was not perfectly flat. I tried using the old holder with new 3M tape, but after it fell a third time, I gave up. Found this more advanced model which listed it will work on curved surfaces. Thought it was worth a try and it works perfectly! Besides that fact that it stayed put, it's got great movement for many agles to hold phone. Highly recommend if you need an adjustable phone mount for any type car with flat or curved mounting surface!
