Bought this for my parents to help them negotiate two steps into their conservatory and it is great for the price and has a sturdy build quality.I suggest you take the supplied wall screws and throw them straight in the bin as they are awful, I snapped one screwing it to the wall, luckily it was not all the way into the wall so it could be extracted but strong screws should not break by just turning them, it was not even touching the plate.Anyway after replacing these with similar galvanised screws I feel confident knowing this is secured properly to the wall.Great value for £7.99.

Bought to aid my 89 year old Dad get up the step to the house. Easy to fit to timber surround to door. Had to use own wood screws of the correct length. Item is fairly light but not totally flimsy. I'm confident it is fit for purpose.
