For the money it is a great product. It gives me a nice grip and the wide angle lens from Melamount is good, it has some vignetting with the Ipad Pro, but fits perfectly on the mount. I wish it could have some cable holder channel for the mic cable. But it is a great product and yes, i will recommend this to a friend.

Unable to charge tablet while using
Major miss with this is the fact that you can't charge the tablet while it's fixed to this. Otherwise it's really well thought out. It's just useless.

My iPad simply did not fit. Couldn't get it lock in to the case

Very easy to hold and use
Very easy to hold and use. I had no problem attaching it to my iPad Pro 9.7. The fold out handles are a great feature. I would have given this stabilizer a "5" except for the cold shoe mounts which I found to be a little small and tight for the equipment I mounted on them. Overall I think the Melamount is a great value for the price.

Good quality and quick delivery but did not fit my iPad

Good in theory, poor execution.
I will have to experiment with more lenses, but for the ones that I used (zoom, wide angle and Moondog labs 16x9) there is too large a distance between the lens and the iPad making the barrel of the lens visible in the frame. the lens SHOULD sit flush against the tablet but there is a gap of about an inch. This makes the case virtually useless for me unless I go through the process of cutting it apart and modifying the case. It gets 2 stars because the handles are functional and the mic extender is nice.

Great iPad Pro 9.7 Video case holder
Almost perfect, very useful, lots of attachment for accessories compare to the other products, but I wish the opening where you put or mount the led light and Microphone should be in the reverse way or the other way around In order to prevent the led light in sliding forward especially the gap is Somewhat wide.
