Someone said .005. @ 300 feet. Thats 5/1000 of an inch at 300 feet and I know thats not correct.** A: Tapcon claims an accuracy of + or - 10 arc seconds. This is about .005 of a degree. That gives an error of about 1/10 of and inch at 100 feet. The case has storage to hold an extra set of batteries if needed. Also has molded spot storage for the LS-B10 machine mounted laser receiver. When I ordered this. The shipper sent this FEX-EX with required signature. A++ For that. Topcon makes a great quality product. I have used this for at least 40 hours on the same batteries and it’s still going strong. Update: May 1st,2019 still using same rechargeable battery they say 60 hours but I’m at 80 hours of use and it’s still holding up. Maybe cause it’s a new battery. No complaints. I keep a set of D-Cells handy, I really want to see how long it can go. This has made installing French drains so easy. Setting up my concrete forms and setting a 2 degree slope.
