I can tell you exactly what it smells like: COMPLEX! A little bit of everything expertly blended. What is so very interesting about this scent is that you really cant classify it..other than "complex and wonderful." Some scientists spent a long time in their labs concocting and blending this scent. I would also say it is more long lasting than others. On par with Armani Code, but more soft and multi toned. Women LOVE the scent. I was puzzled at first because I could not classify the scent. But I realized what Versace did with this product. Something different. I will be getting more of it.

How good is it in terms of projection and longevity?

The projection is reasonable, people close to you will catch a whiff without being offended.The longevity has been quite amazing, easily 8 hours or more here in hot/humid Florida.Another great Versace EDT is Eros ... a true killer scent!

does it come with the short film?

I bought mine a few years back and I know nothing about a film. Lots of compliments on the scent, though.
