The early versions of the iPad are ideal for this. *by J***T on May 6, 2015* The only thing you'll want after buying this is your money back. Why spend this much money for aggravation? The iPad Air doesn't fit. I won't risk my expensive iPad Air in this. It gets one star for fantastic quality for the rest of it. But the adapter has two major flaws one is it doesn't fit the iPad Air correctly. The second is the space it makes between the iPad and the rest of the case. Nothing like adding an extra step to editing your video. Last but not least when you call and ask if they have updated the adapter to work correctly, they will want you to believe that you are the only one having the problem.
