It works. The calibration is a bit complicated but really not necessary unless you use commercially. After a couple uses you will figure out what the settings should be for various products. Not brain surgery here. Definitely professional grade. If you can spring the extra cash, get the stainless steel version with the edge guard especially if you have areas such a patios and walk ways you don’t want product on. It will last forever. I just spread 320 lbs of lime without issue.

It's very expensive but well built

The spreader was well packaged and arrived when promised. Like others noted, the assembly instructions need improvement, particularly when attaching the wheels (one side uses 2-washers, the other 3-washers). When assembled it comes together solidly. This replaced my old Scotts Pro-Edgeguard (gear assembly wore out), as it takes on quite a bit of product weight in the hopper. Calibration instructions for product measurement are pretty involved and there is a translation chart on the web (compares to other spreaders). What worked for me, was to load my products (seed and fertilizer) and vary the settings for a distribution rate that looked reasonable. This looks like it will last a long time.

Works perfect for every job

As long as you accept the fact that the calibration instructions are absurdly complex and beyond the capability of most people, this is a really nice spreader. The assembly wasn't too bad, and it feels very sturdy. My only complaint is that I wish the basket was a bit funnel-shaped because it stops dropping product when there's still a good amount left in the basket (just not over the holes). You can jostle it to help get more out, but once you start doing that, the spread is really uneven.

This spreader is fantastic. I used to use the Scotts spreader and this spreader is just so much easier to use. It rolls great, making the 1 acre lot that I have to fertilize a breeze. With the Scott's spreader it was a chore. Large, pneumatic wheels make pushing this spreader easy. The spread rate was very even and the build quality is really good.

Nice, heavy duty and looks like it will outlast me.
