It's the seller's Name! A lot of people are complaining that their Mugs broke... they're Glass. Borosilicate is not unbreakable. A three-word search on a handheld computer (cellphone), would have yielded this fact - "Is Borosilicate Unbreakable", and would have cleared up any questions or expectations! I think the Company name is a little deceiving, but I have exploded a Pyrex bowl, so I knew better! That was my lesson on heat-resistant glass. Anyway, Borosilicate is shatter-resistant to quick temperature changes. I tested mine straight out of the box. From room temperature to 212° in seconds with no problems. I ordered a different brand and returned them because they were broken in the box. These seem sturdy enough to last a while with minimal care. But alas... no glass is shatter /breakproof... this isn't the window of the President's Limo (which still cracks some). And finally, the top of the mug does curve in slightly. I had no problem drinking from it like some others did. PS... These are not solid glass mugs. There is space between the outer glass and the inner glass. The glass itself is very thin. Care must be taken with the mugs. A sharp rap with a metal spoon or even between two mugs - can chip or break the mug. With minimal care, you can enjoy these nice mugs. There's the whole story, pluses, and perceived negatives. If you accept that they are glass... you'll REALLY like these mugs.

These are awesome. Cups stay cool, look great, and I can see my coffee quite clearly. I’m buying more in a week, the small double Espresso set too. I love my coffees and these allow me to enjoy them more.

It says “unbreakable” in the description, but they're made of glass.. so when i accidentally dropped one, it broke instantly..

These are surprisingly light in weight. So if you’re used to a heavy mug, this will be an adjustment. I actually like it. Coffee stays warmer than even a mug with a lid, the cups also microwave easily for a little warm up. The cup looks smaller to me but holds a good cup of coffee, about a 10 oz? They have a strong feel to them despite the delicate weight and they wash up sparkly clear. I like seeing the color of my coffee or tea in the cup. The sipping edge is nice and rounded, feels good when enjoying my beverage.

I'm sad to report that these are not unbreakable. I think the look and feel is great, which is why I am giving three stars. But the functionality failed when the first one was dropped and shattered, then a second one, and now a third. I wish they were actually unbreakable. That's what I'm looking for. Mom with tremors wants to be independent with getting her own coffee, but can't hold a coffee cup for long. If you have another product you'd like us to test out, please send.

First, I hate plastic, and I’ve broken way too many ceramic latte cups through the years. These are perfect! Short enough to slip under my Gaggia Classic portafilter for brewing, shows all the beautiful layers of espresso, cream and steamed milk or cream - and didn’t break when I dropped one on my tile floor yesterday!!! Yep, just perfect!

Bought these for my wife. Thought they looked neat and something little different. On the other hand the unbrakable was a great selling point. She has used them a hand full of times. She just showed me that two of them are already broken. I looked them over and they feel cheap. Save your money. Very light in weight. Not worth the money.

These are NOT unbreakable. Bought them for my grandma who has recently had a stroke since she's prone to dropping things. One fell from her hand (around 60cm or so from the ground) and it shattered to pieces immediately. They are fine as just mugs. But do not call them "unbreakable" if they break. That was the only reason I bought them.

Very nice coffee cups,surprisingly light weight, goes with everything beautifully and really does keep your drink hot for way longer. I am very happy with this product. ☺️
