NYX Professional Makeup Ultimate Eyeshadow & Liner Primer Shade: Light

Easy to apply ( tiny amount on finger then dabbed on eyelids) and my eyeshadow stays perfect all day on my 67 year old slightly saggy eyes.. I'm so pleased with the result as I like a slightly smoky eye during day and was thinking I'd have to stop doing it due to smudging & "movement " of the dark grey blended out outline I put around my eyes so I don't need mascara. Now my eyes look fabulous again

If you get oily eyelids which makes your eyes sting, would recommend this 10/10 keeps the oil at bay!

Does exactly what you'd hope: keeps your eyeshadow in place, and stops it creasing, morning to night. Drops one star because the bottle (although it was sealed) doesn't seem to contain very much product, so I'm not sure how long it will last.

It works exactly as I want it to - it keeps my eyeshadow on all day and helps it adhere and is a bit more vibrant. There is 100% a difference from when I do and don’t use it.

Not overjoyed with this - the wand is not great for getting the product onto your eyelids and takes a while to dry down. Feels more like a serum and I don't find the finish to be opaque enough to help your eyeshadow be true to colour. glad that it's vegan and cruelty free

I use this everytime I do an eyeshadow look. It's long lasting and doesn't crease. It creates a nice sticky base for your eyeshadow to stick to. Bonus: it smells good

I have no idea why I haven't tried this primer before! It works really well and creates a good base onto which I apply my eyeshadow. During the day, my eyeshadow stays in place and using this primer has given me the confidence to be creative with eyeshadow again, without worrying about it migrating into my eyelid crease as the day goes by. I will be purchasing it again.

Causes an uncomfortable stinging sensation on my eyelids. I've never had this issue with other eye primers. The applicator is almost dry from first use, and the bottle seems to contain very little product despite arriving sealed. I also noticed similar complaints in other reviews, so this may not be an isolated issue.

I wanted to try this one since I heard good things about it, but for me it smudged the makeup after a few hours and I also got a stinging sensation while applying it, something I don't have while using the MAC eye primer (which I went back to after a few tries of the NYX primer). It might be because I use retinol, although not around my eyes.

My favorite shadow primer, works great, doesn’t crease, makes my shadow last.
