Great low-waste alternative to disposable kids' flossers
My child got used to a drugstore-brand flosser that is shaped like this, but has replaceable heads that you swap out of the handle. So that one is only slightly less plastic chucked daily in the garbage than your typical disposable flosser, in other words. It was also hard to find replacement heads without going to that specific store. I found some eco-friendly, biodegradable kid flossers that are shaped more like the typical ones you see, and my child refused to use them (said he couldn't reach back teeth with them).Thrilled to have found this alternative, in the shape he likes, & where only the floss gets thrown away. The learning curve to wrap a fresh string in place is pretty quick & easy. I use a fairly thick & high-friction floss (Smart Floss) so if others are having trouble with the floss unwrapping mid-use, maybe try using a heftier/stickier floss (it does a better job of cleaning your teeth than slick ribbon-style flosses anyways).

Yellow not Pink
Flosser works great. However, I specifically ordered this item because it is pictured /described as pink and that’s what my kiddo wanted. The item delivered is yellow, super disappointing. We are super bummed out, but it’s not really worth returning.

Ridges aren't deep enough
When I first started using this, I didn't think I could stick with it because it was so aggravating to use. The floss came off the sides over and over again. I finally took a sharp knife and deepened the ridges on the front and sides so the floss sits into the ridges more. That helped a lot. I also switched to a thinner floss so it wouldn't pop out. I have a system down on how to hold it now and it's easier. Not as easy as flossers, but worth the little bit of extra time to not produce the waste of the flossers.

Here to buy another!
I ordered pink and got yellow like another reviewer. "Disappointed" is too strong a word, but I did want the pink one lol Decided I wanted to keep one at my bedstand as well, so figured I'd leave a review while adding to my cart again!I have had really crowded teeth my whole life, and flossing is nearly impossible no matter the method-- can't fit both hands in my mouth, pick flossers are too short and not able to angle the way I need to reach my back teeth. I have a waterpik, but my dentist informed me that it's not always as effective as classic flossing. You do need a waxier floss for it to work best, one that sticks to itself so that it doesn't come out of the loop easily. It's cheap, makes flossing so easy that you have no excuse not to, and while it is made of plastic, it's still more environmentally friendly than the other options. It takes me longer to try and do it the "normal" way than it does to adjust the floss here and there 🤷🏼♀️

Good in concept, bad at execution
It could possibly be a learning curve in how to wrap the floss around it but I tried it several ways to wrap it but it always gets loose and a pain in the butt to rewrap about 2-3 times more to finish flossing. Sad it didnt work out since I wanted to limit plastic waste

Good design, good for people who hate flossing!
I hate flossing. I've tried other floss picks but they're all too big or the angle means you have to stick your hand in your mouth. This one is a good size for me and because the floss is perpendicular to the handle it's so much easier to get the back teeth. It takes a little practice to figure out how to thread correctly but the instructions and the video helpOnly negative is wish I could have selected the color, was really hoping to get blue or greenOverall highly recommend, went from rarely flossing to almost every night!

Not just unhelpful but potentially injurious
(1) Made from very hard plastic, and the gap between the two prongs is just 1.5 cm, so if you press this down hard (to get floss past tops of crowded teeth), the prongs punch the gums. Not for people who have even just a few narrow gaps. (2) The floss loosens, even when using long lengths of floss with lots of turns; this isn't a way to economize on floss. (3) Saying the user can "squeeze the tips closer" (to make the floss tighter) implies the plastic is soft, but it's not, and one can't. For me, this device is worse than worthless; I threw it out.

Hard to get floss tight
Got this to reduce the amount of plastic used daily. Read previous reviews and thought I'd give it a try anyway. Great idea but needs improvement. It's very hard to get the floss tight enough to survive a full mouth flossing. Followed the instructions and made sure to squeeze ends to make the floss as tight as possible (which is also difficult) but still gets loose about a quarter of the way through my mouth. I then need to redo the whole thing. Overall, it's frustrating and takes too long. I might as well just do it the old school way. Planning to try biodegradable floss picks instead.

super lame
I would give it zero stars if I could. It doesn't hold the floss tight for more than a second. And where your thumb needs to go to press on the handle, well there's a hole there, so kinda uncomfortable to use. I tried to make it work but it's just a bad design. now it's in the trash can.

Makes flossing easier
Love this. I’m trying to cut back on single-use plastic so I no longer buy the little disposable floss holders. This gadget works well and has also cut back on floss waste, you can cut off the regular amount that you would use wrapped around your fingertips, but you can reposition it in the holder and use most of the floss rather than throw it away after one use.

Need to get used to it
Its a great low waste alternative to the regular disposable flossers. It helps me to floss more regularly while still not creating the enormous amouts of waste caused by the disposable one. However, you do need to get used to using it.

Too large and not angled appropriately.
not designed well to go into the mouth. Floss did not lock onto the button and the floss slid off the ends.

Does the job well
It does the job very well. I use Colgate Total floss, about 15 cm, and I find it stays on well - no slipping/sliding. Squeezing the two tips close to each other while wrapping the floss helps to put a good tension.
