Perfect size and weight for ensuring workshop door security. Only 4 stars because the top bolt stop pinged off immediately. In my opinion this should be welded onto the plate whereas is is only an interference fit which isn't man enough. I've welded it now.

Very solid and weighted and the floor holder and plate make it much more solid perfect replacement for my old drop bolts that was on the gate which was way too flimsy.

Study metalwork for the new garden gate. You can’t really go wrong with this. Installation was pretty straight forward albeit you’ll need appropriate tools and some common sense :)

Dimensions are different from those stated in the diagram: The Bolt length is 307mm. The Bolt diameter is 14mm not 16mm. The Upper bracket is 44 x 100mm. The Lower brackets are both 57 x 39mm.

Does the job, fitted bolt on gate dug hole in ground balanced bolt ferrule(supplied)on top of another piece of tube (I already had)pushed into bottom of hole.Duck tapped around joint and poured ready mixed cement around it. As the ferrule set of in situ with bolt engaged lined up is perfect.Worked for me and prefered that to drilling holes for the plate(also supplied)into the concrete.

Pour portail et portillon bois, très solide et longueur d’accroche suffisante pour caler les vis loin du bord. Petit défaut: vis vendues avec trop courtes à mon goût, j’ai préféré en mettre de l’épaisseur et taille au-dessus. Mais peut-être qu’elles suffisent 👍🏼
