POLLAK12-711U Right Angle Mounting Bracket for 7-Way Trailer Connector

Used to mount my new tow harness ('99 Ford F-350) - works great
I recently swapped out my old 7-way tow harness with a new one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001GBGA0GI was going to re-use the old mounting bracket but it was just too small to be able to drill new holes since they didn't line up. I tried, but it just didn't work.Happily I found this bracket and from what I could tell, the holes aligned with that tow harness, so I went ahead and ordered it. Once it arrived I was happy to see that they did in fact line up perfect, no drilling necessary.I used the nuts and bolts included with this bracket to attach the harness, nice and tight, no issues. I should probably go back and use a little blue thread lock on them though, just in case. The bracket also came with a pair of self-tapping screws, but since I wanted to make sure the bracket-to-truck connection was solid, I drilled the existing holes a little bigger and used some stainless nuts and bolts I had for that connection. Much sturdier, I think, and less chance of a rusty screw (or two) causing my wiring to drag on the ground if the bracket broke free. The screws would probably be okay, but I've had a bad experience with a rusted out screw in a very similar spot (on my trailer) so now I just don't take those chances.Overall I'm happy with the setup and I like this new bracket a lot more than the rusty, bent one that was there before, so it all worked out.

Holes line up but sticks out to far!
On our 2018 Traverse the mount tab on the draw tite hitch sticks out to far for the plastic cover on the bumper to go back on once the connector is attached. I even drilled out holes farther back and it still would not fit. Solution, took dremel and cut out small hole in plastic cover to make room for lights plug. Looks ok. But would rather they build these things and test before they just send them out.

Perfect For Mounting The Outlet If You Change Bumpers!
If you have changed your rear bumper, which had a factory location for the 7 pin RV style trailer light outlet, this bracket is perfect for giving a good replacement mount. For my install I cut off the angled part and still had room to drill and mount the bracket with two 1/4-20 bolts. After mounting the cover still opens up without a bind. You can even cut through the ring between holes (right side in picture) and just spread the bracket for a second to slip the wiring harness through, before mounting the outlet, so you won't have to unwire it to install!

Holds the wiring harness securely.
This worked great for adding the seven way trailer brake style wiring harness connector to my vehicle. Just attach this bracket to the underside of your vehicle where you would like to plug your lights in. Attach the plug also made by this company and you are good to go.

Perfect Fit for U-Haul Installed Hitch
I bought this in case the U-Haul dealer didn't have this in stock because it wasn't listed on the invoice. They did, but installed mine and didn't charge extra! It fit perfectly.

Not a bad bracket but came without screws.
Not a bad bracket but came without screws. How do they expect you to attach it without screws or bolts?

Could be sturdier
As you can have quite a strain on the connector if you use a 7 place RV connector, this bracket is barely enough over the long run. However it looks good and works for the intended purpose - just would like a little thicker.
