I love this brand.
I have another of their notebooks. It's great quality, beautiful to look at and write on. Sturdy, robust, you can bash it around and it still looks good. I prefer the soft back cover to hardback. It's not cheap that's why I took advantage of the special offer this time around. However, willing to pay full price as I went for a cheaper imitation which fell apart. I was seduced by the price but I've learned my lesson won't be getting that brand again. Will fork out a lot more to get a better quality product.

The best of the journal-format notebooks
High quality paper in a nicely-made softback B5 format. These are expensive at first glance (keep your eye on the colours as some are cheaper than others) but very well made. The current production even includes a card collar under the elastic to stop the cover getting marked. (tbh I'm not sure why the elastic closures are needed but these seem to keep their strength.)As ever, you're buying these for the paper. It's lovely to write on and take fountain pen ink (black permanent Quink, for example) extremely well. Most fo the competitors suffer from bleed. A certain French make of Worldwide Fame might as well advertise their notebooks as blotting paper.Rhodia are the real deal. I've tried others and always come back to these.

Unchanged quality of Rhodia notebook
The media could not be loaded. Benefits- the cover is made of leather like material, some how resistant to dirt, you can wipe it. It’s sturdy but not as hard covers.- lighter than hard cover- paper is not white but warm yellow, dotted with light gray dots- thick and smooth paper perfect for fountain pen (not bleeding through)- envelope pocket at the back- one ribbon bookmark- rubber band to keep it all togetherDisadvantages- a guess you can prefer hard cover but unfortunately comes with more pages and it’s more expensive- I would love to find Rhodia notebook in this option but with more pages and white paper instead of yellow like

My favourite notebook
Probably best notebook I've bought, prefer it to moleskine, you pay a bit but it's well worth it. Great quality paper, and I love the soft cover which is light but sturdy. About to order another one!

Soft but sturdy with high quality paper
Headline says it all - when it arrived I thought the cover would be too carboard-y and crease in my bag but it's been three weeks now, handled quite roughly and it's great. Paper does not bleed. Would buy again.

Perfect bullet journal - sturdy and high quality
I switched to this notebook after finding my A5 bullet journal a little cumbersome and love it! The journal lives in my handbag and is sturdy enough to live up this challenge. The attached elastic band has never slipped off, and holds the book tight enough that nothing can slip inside and damage the pages. It's small enough not to be a bother and now comes everywhere with me. There is a relatively large cardboard wallet in the back pocket which I have shoved stuff in before and the elastic has still held. I stick a lot of things in my journal and as you can see in the photograph it only adds to its charm. The notebook will fold out flat to write in, though you need a little persuasion. I have practically folded it inside out before and you can't tell. Washi tape and glue tape rollers stick in the book fine. Just be aware that the pages are on the thinner side, so if you coat one page in washi tape don't expect to able to write smoothly on the following page - you'll get stuck in the bumps. I only use biros and coloured pencils in my journal, neither of which go through on to the other side. If you use a pen heavy-handedly it will leave a ridge in the opposing page (you can see this in the picture of January's cover page).I'm tempted to get a few more of these just to use for general writing. I'm extremely happy with it and believe it could serve multiple purposes admirably.
