**Q: Does this come with the ratchet mount and how long is the attached cable?**
A: It comes with nylon ratchet mount. Cable is 23 ft.

**Q: Is the connector attached to the cable. Seeing if I need to make a large hole for install.**
A: There’s a smaller connector attached to the cable, that will be screwed into the larger/standard vhf radio connector

**Q: What the heck?? My husband is installing on his boat and is having difficulty extending antenna??! Is there some magical button to push??**
A: You don’t extend the antenna, you turn that handle to move it to different angles.

**Q: What is the distance center to center of mounting holes?**
A: The outside measurements of the base is 3 5/8"  X  2 1/2"
Center to center on the 3 5/8" side is 2 7/8"
Center to center on the 2 1/2" side is 1 3/4"
