We love the size, perfect for decoration. The fact that the pieces are mini makes the structure more realistic. I really recommend it for a gift or for fun. It takes time, but it's worthy. Review: The pieces are TINY - This was fun (if you enjoy building miniature things)! Some tips: When opening the bags, Immediately put them in a Ziplock bag! One ziplock bag for each bag of blocks. I used 15 sandwich bags. It makes it easier to identify pieces without spilling everywhere. While the pieces do not seem in any particular order, when you go through the bags a few times you’ll see they are easier to find. Use the tweezers provided! There is a groove inside to grip the heads of the blocks. It takes a little getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, they are indispensable. There is also a tool to help add and remove pieces, but I didn’t realize what it was until I was finished. Check mark each set of blocks as you pull them out. Pull all blocks from each page before actually placing the blocks. Then check mark each layer as you finished it. I also had a lot of extra pieces! While I noticed there was at least one extra piece of some of the blocks, as the picture shows I received a lot more.
