I am very disappointed on how poorly this book was written. This book mentions little or nothing about certain events that took place in Africa. The book mentions Apartheid but Nelson Mandela's name wasn't mentioned in the book at all. The Rwanda Genocide was touched on briefly, but lacked a great deal of information. Terrible book. My professor said she was not going to use it for her class next semester.

I purchased this book on November 19 for a college course. I am currently in the 3rd week of that class and still no book. I will never put my trust in Amazon for my education requirements again.

I am not a fan of history but this was an alright book!

This was a okay textbook. text is easy to understand.However, I thought that the ratio it had for Europe compared to the rest of the world is too large. There is very little information for about the rest of the world.
