What is the difference in brown top and blue top in deep dark color?

The dark lid is for the dark deep color and the blue lid is for the light to med color. I wish if people don't know they would not answer. I'm fair skinned and I use the dark deep color with the dark brown lid. The color is very pretty.

Does this make dark spots darker?

Does not make dark spots darker. I have dark spots too and this tanning lotion doesn’t make them more noticeable

What does it smell like?

Hard to describe but I am sensitive to smell and dislike floral perfumy smells and this is the most tolerable self tanner I know of. It has a self tanner smell that all lotions like this have but it’s not perfumy or irritating. If you want an even lighter smell that smells less like self tanner, try the blue lid gradual tan kind from this manufacturer.
