a gripping narrative
A reader with an open mind will appreciate the facts and perspectives presented in this work.Of late, there is so much of abusive content shared in social media about Gandhi and most of the political leaders of that era. They are so shallow and narrow minded. For a common man who wants to dig deep to understand what really happened, this book presents facts with a neutral view and investigates the right questions.Adequate coverage given to the Hindutva views of Godse too. It’s high time we stop blaming the leaders of the past and focus our energies on constructive work. After all, Gandhi was human and he too had his flaws. But there is so much more to learn from his thoughts and socio-economic models for a peaceful & sustainable World.Thank you authors for the years of hard work you put in to give us this meaningful content. Please continue your work and write more about relevance of his economic models and practical ways to try them out in the midst of today’s Capitalist World.

A descriptive image
This question of the old man of our independence has reared its head again. This book is an honest attempt towards providing a description about the context and represussions of the political choices made in the past. The books remains helpful as it simply speaks the words without any melodramatic connotations. You won't know something that hasn't been said already but yet will end.up with re affirmations about our state of social politics.

Interesting
Based on a wider conspiracy, the book implicates the ruler of Alwar along with Savarkar and Hindu Mahasabha. The third part of the book is more about history of Hindutva ideology and includes a chapter tracing the origin of the ‘Hindu khatre mein hai’ propaganda to a 1912 essay by a Bengali physician ‘churning out observations that had no credible sources, only dire warnings for the Hindu race’.Overall, an interesting reading.

A reminder of true history
There isn't really much new in this book. But the book comes at a time when history is being distorted by the ruling regime to suit their malicious purposes. This book seeks to set the records right once again. It contains some new evidence collected from police records and other sources to show the deep involvement of RSS and Savarkar in the Gandhi assassination.

Incoherent, rambling and boring
I wish Amazon had a moneyback policy or a policy to return books. This is one of the most terrible books i have read of late - especially considering the great subject material at hand. I wish i could give a Zero star. The book does not have a logical flow - it is just incoherent and badly edited. It jumps from one date and year to another without any structure. It just introduces various dates and people and does not link things together. The book should have been a novella - but the healthy font size and margins have made it last around 100-120 pages after which the books rambles off into another tangent - about CAA-NRC, Princely states, Hindutva in general for another 70-80 pages. It is just plain misrepresentation to call it a new investigation. There is hardly anything new. Some new angle is introduced about the State of Alwar which also ends nowhere. The editing is shoddy with many editing mistakes, bad jumps in narrative. Save your time and read other books like Freedom at Midnight which had a more thrilling narrative of the same events.

A must read for every Indian
An unbiased book recounting the events that lead to the Mahatma's assassination. It is a must read for all who wish to know the truth. A fresh perspective is being offered by the writers. The book is gripping and is an absolute page turner. I would highly recommend this book!
