Great product everyone should have in their car and on their person
It was packaged well and completely vacuum sealed. what should be sterile and vacuum sealed in the kit is. Familiarize yourself with the contents and keep your tourniquet staged in the one arm application. I’m gonna be purchasing more of these for a mass casualty/trauma duffle I keep in my trunk. MORE important than your standard boo boo kits and at a great value

What you really need
I’m not a medical professional, and my last first aid class was many years ago, but my research tells me that this kit contains the most essential tools needed to contain bleeding in case of trauma, based on current best practices. It’s based on the needs of the military in dealing with trauma from gunshot or explosives, but it’s also appropriate for injuries form auto accidents, storm damage, and similar events. If you hunt, I’d recommend keeping one in your backpack, and if you participate in shooting sports it might be wise to keep one in you range bag as well. Mine is going in the first aid kit I keep in my car.

MediTac control pack review
This is a solid bleeding control pack with almost everything that you would want included. The kit includes shears, a small permanent marker, 2 chest seals, a CAT tourniquet, a thermal blanket, wipes, gloves, a bandage and gauze. The kit arrived in a sealed plastic bag which is one of my few nit picks as I wish that it was a re-sealable bag instead. The only other thing that I would have liked to see is for the kit to contain quick clot as well. Other than those minor issues this is a quality kit which would work well in an emergency kit or in a vehicle. The price is reasonable for the amount of items that you get. I would definitely recommend this kit.

Be Prepared!
If you ever need this pack, and hopefully you never will, you will need it very quickly and it will probably save your life.I have not opened the pack, and don't plan to unless I need to use it. I am familiar with most of the contents of the pack, and they all seem to be of very good quality. We usually travel a lot, but for over a year we have been stuck the USA. Things do happen here that might require an emergency trauma pack though, and we're facing our second hurricane season in a row. When we are able to resume our travels, this kit is definitely going with us!

Good Set For A Proper First Aid Kit
For anyone putting together a proper first aid kit to ditch the expired freebie pouch from the automobile club: This will work. It's a basic but proper selection to provide proper immediate assistance, be it on the road, at work, outdoors, or at home. Take a course, watch some videos every week, practice with whatever and whoever is available, and you are better prepared than most other people. Just DON'T tighten up the tourniquet when practicing with a real person!I like my Milestone Roll First Aid Bag, which rolls out everything when needed.I hope this helps to make a decision.
