Works perfectly. Fits perfectly in my 2020 CX-5. It takes less than 5 minutes to setup. Note that the wireless charger isn't very fast and does not have a cooling fan. Cooling is not available in most cars' wireless charger anyway, so it is not a negative at this price point. The surfaces have non-slip rubber mats which is a nice touch. The color and material matches to the car so it just blends in like original car part. For the charging speed, it may improve with a higher power cigerette lighter USB adapter. I have not tried that yet. Primarily because I don't need fast charge there. As it is wireless charging make phones hot when connected to Android Auto wirelessly which I do. And I have more chrging adapters and cables for fast charging in the car. Overall, recomended.

This dropped right into my 2021 CX5. The power cable that plugs into the cigarette lighter is a little short though which makes installing it a little bit of a challenge for adult sized hands to install but once I got it seated correctly it worked great. The only complaint I have about functionality is the USB plu is very tight so when go to unplug it, it pulls the entire unit out and since the power cable is a little short it will also unplug the unit as it lifts up but you won't realize it until you notice your phone hasn't been charging the entire time. Make the power chord a little linger and include some 3M tape to hold it down and this product would be a 10!

Fits a 2022 CX-5 almost flawlessly. It does however not sit quite flush or curve with the piano black center shifter trim at the very edges (2-3mm difference) and it lacks the silver trim the opposing side has to make it look like it’s truly part of the car. Further there is a gap in the space above there the power port is, making it clear it’s an accessory. But it’s very close, is the same color, and charges my iPhone 13 pro perfectly. It nested in nicely as well with no rattle. Fix the gap and make it sit completely flush and it would be 5 stars

There is really nothing wrong with the item at all. Packaged well. Fits well. Looks nice. What I am disappointed with is that while Mag charging, it won’t control Apple Car Play or the phone. You still need a lightning charger to connect to those functions in the entertainment module which completely defeats my goal to eliminate visible wires in the cockpit. If I knew I still had to have a charger wire I wouldn’t have purchased it at all.

Easy to install, fits well. Even when in PARK, the unit only works for about 15 seconds, then it stops. Green light is still on, but it’s not charging. If I pick the phone up and move it around, it will work again for a few seconds. I’m hopeful it’s just a bad unit. Will attempt an exchange.

As a piece of accessory, this extension is well designed and fits well within the space given in my 2019 CX-5. However, the included wireless charger is really slow and keeps heating up the phone. I might have to open it up and replace the wireless charger for a better one.

Very much plug and play. I Instinctually put the car in drive with my foot on the break for installation. The cord to the cigarette charger is short so if it pulls out just angle the unit to the right and reach in and push it in. Literally just slides right in! Seems to work well day one, phone sat on charger (android) for over 20 minutes and saw no overheating issues. Keep in mind that wireless chargers arent the fastest. 20 minutes got me about 10%, which is perfect for me! Will update if anything changes!
