Natrol Alpha Lipoic Acid 600 mg, Dietary Supplement for General Wellness, 30 Capsules, 30 Day Supply

I have issues with foot pain and burning, especially at night. I read that ALA could help diabetic nerve pain, and while I don't have diabetes, the pain and burning seemed to be the same thing I have. So I tried this. It works. I still have my nights...but not a "keep me awake" burning pain every single night. Coupling this with epsom salt foot soaks a couple times a week, and I'm good! I have tried other brands, most work the same at 600 mg, but one I had smelled like garlic WAY too much. Downside of taking this, it MAY make your urine smell like sulfur.

Are we wasting our money? Perhaps. But we'd far rather risk our money now than be disappointed later when the science confirms what we believe, that supplements enhance our lives.

I started taking Alpha lipoic acid for burning mouth syndrome, which is believed to be a neuropathy. It worked! However within a month, I began losing huge amounts of hair. Probably half my head over a period of a few months. Subsequently I read that this is common. It took several months for my hair to grow back and fill in after stopping this. It doesn't happen to everyone and the benefits of the supplement were great for the pain. The product itself is great. Just be aware of potential side effects/

I've been interested in the benefits of Alpha Lipoic Acid for a while now, and I chose this product for the quality and lack of fillers. The price is awesome for the amount that you get. Some supplements have made me nauseous if I take on an empty stomach and I didn't experience that side effect with this product.Another reviewer commented on the improvement of her skin, I actually noticed this as well. Especially an improvement with skin tone. I also noticed that while taking this, I don't get dizzy if I haven't eaten for a while.Overall, I'm really impressed with this company and now I'm curious to try other products they sell.

along with a sensible diet this is aiding im controlling my blood sugar. I wouldn't compare it to insulin, or use this to replace insulin, but it is beneficial for someone who requires low grade assistance
