The car shop was replacing a Crank sensor for $800 ...
The car shop was replacing a Crank sensor for $800, when they said the radiator was leaking. They wanted $500 to replace it. This one was $75 with a lifetime warranty (whatever that means), and I installed it myself in about 2 hours. It was a very simple replacement - drain the coolant, remove 5 hoses and the front decorative plastic, loosened 2 bolts, and this baby pulled right out. New one slipped exactly in, reversed the steps, and BAM! my mom's car was ready to roll.Blood sucking mechanics trying to take advantage of people..... Dont get me started....
