We bought this for our Halloween chaos, and it was just what we needed! We were able to create 6+ different looks, it was easy to handle and use, stayed on well, and came off without staining. Definitely messy fun, but exactly what we wanted in a special effects kit—total win!

Worked out for my daughter’s Halloween costume, be careful though because the red stains skin.

This Halloween makeup set has everything you need to pull together a creepy, dramatic look all with fake blood, liquid latex, and classic face paints in red, black, and white. I like that the formula is non-toxic and gentle on skin, though it does take a bit more effort to remove after use since it’s waterproof. Perfect for Halloween parties, costume contests, or cosplay looks when you want realistic special effects without needing separate products.

We like this face paint in general. The paint itself is water based. With warm water and soap, we were able to remove it without scrubbing. However, we did notice some colors like the darker balck and red took a little longer to wash off completely. The pigments are decent with two layer of coverage. The variety of tools and colors makes it versatile enough for everything from simple pumpkins to more elaborate full-face skeletons. The compact case keeps everything organized, though I wish the paint pans were a little bigger since they can run out quickly if you’re covering large areas. We can't wait to use it for the upcoming Halloween!

Delighted with this face paint and special effects kit. I use it for cosplay and it gives the exact effect that I want. You get a lot in it and it's good quality. I especially liked the black, red and white colour face paint; each tube measures about 9.5cm x 2.5cm, it covers really well, no smell, blended well, could be layered up for even more intensity, and a little went a long way - it washed off easily too. You also get a bottle of latex, a tin of scar wax, bottle of fake blood, application sponges, a metal mixing spatula, and a set of good quality paintbrushes. All the products are a good size and will last me ages. I think the price for this set is very good and I'd get it again. Five stars from me.

The kit is really stocked and includes fake blood, liquid latex, and red, black, and white face paints, along with a set of sponges and brushes so you have all the tools you need right in the box, also some scar wax. The paint is oil based which means it is waterproof and sweat proof, giving you great coverage. One of the best perks is that the materials are non toxic and hypoallergenic, making it safe for sensitive skin or for use on kids. I tested the paints out earlier and I didn’t get irritated, I just wanted to let it set and then see how easy it comes off and if there is staining, even though the paint is long lasting, it is surprisingly easy to clean off with just some soap and water or wet wipes. I used face wipes, then used my makeup cleansing balm to really clean my face and there was no residue surprisingly. The liquid latex in this kit is mainly used for creating special effects and 3D textures on the skin. It is great for making realistic looking wounds, scars, or peeling skin effects You apply it in thin layers, and once it dries, it becomes a flexible, rubbery surface that you can paint over or even tear slightly to look like a cut, I cannot wait to get some time to really test this element so I can update everyone. As for the clay, typically in these sorts of SFX kits, a wax or clay like substance is used for moulding features. It allows you to change the shape of your face, like making a bigger nose or adding a bony ridge to your forehead. You just press it onto the skin and blend the edges before covering it with the face paint or the liquid latex to make it look like a natural part of your body, again another element I’m excited for, you don’t get a huge amount so If I can wait until a party I have next month, I can use it to try and turn myself a little more into character. The sponges you get aren’t great, just standard, I prefer make up sponnges for a better finish but for the price, you can’t complain.
