Drive Medical RTL12004KD Handicap Bathroom Stool, White

I have a narrow bathtub and none of the bench-style shower chairs fit it. This stool is just the right size and leaves plenty of room for me to stand in the shower in front of it. It assembled in minutes and the large handles on the fastening screws make them easy to tighten (I would think if one had arthritis they'd be a great help.) If I'd had a wee shower stool like this one when I was learning to shave my legs so many decades ago I'd have avoided all sorts of messy incidents. Well-made, useful and a good value!

This is my 2nd bath stool. The 1st one I had had the handles on the side and it was to awkward in my small shower stall. So the primary reason I bought this particular style was size. I have a vary narrow shower stall and I needed the chair to be narrower than me so I could move around.The box arrived in perfect condition. The item was placed in a brown box so none of my neighbors were aware of the content. It also arrived within the prime window of 2 days. I know it’s just a stool, but I appreciated the privacy of the brown box.The instructions were included and very detailed. The number of parts were not overwhelming and all the pieces were in brand new condition. It took me under 10 minutes to assemble.I then took it into the shower to wash down. I placed it in the shower and the rubber on the bottom seemed very secure, the stool did not move. I then turned the water on and moved the seat around to see if it moved with water, again very secure. I then sat down to test it while it was wet and had body weight, the stool felt very secure and didn’t move as I did.When I took my 1st shower, I felt the freedom that the chair with handles did not give me. My legs could move around more. The stool in my opinion has to be picked up to move or you need to push it. I personally take things slow because I want to be careful and I felt safe on the stool. I did not try any fast movements or use the stool in other way besides it’s purpose.I would recommend this stool for anyone with a small shower or feels the chair with handles is too bulky.It has a high weight limit so many people may fall under this requirement.I love this item, it’s easy to clean, reasonably priced and does what I need it to do.

Old people, injured people and recovering from surgery people cannot fall down. Cannot tip over. Verboten !This is sturdy and adjustable to put your butt on or feet. Shower or tub. Item is as advertised. Have two.

While visiting with family for an extended period of time, I needed a shower stool for use in their standard tub. It had to be large enough to support my weight so I can sit and wash my feet. At the same tie, the stool needed to be small enough to fit in their tub. Voila! This product fits the bill nicely. Granted, it does not feel quite as sturdy as the stool I use in my shower at my home; but it's good enough...and, I think, affordably priced.

I bought thecstool to use for bathing in a standard size bathtub, that a shower chair won’t fit in. I use the hand held shower hose.You can adjust the stool to the height that best fits you. Easy to set up when you take all of the peices out of the box. Very pleased with this stool.

As mentioned already this stool is very easy to assembled and it is a perfect size. I like that it is small enough so I can put it in the closet when I am finished using it. It will be nice to place it under the shower head and just sit on the stool and chill.

Easy to put together. The low weight makes it easy to maneuver in the tub. I am tall, so I have it set on its highest level so I don't have to work to stand up. Our tub is too narrow for the legs to go diagonally across the tub so have to use the stool with the legs as shown. It is very stable. Our tube is 17 inches across at the bottom before the sides/bottom start to curve up so lots of flat surface. One easy tip... run the hot shower on the stool seat for a few seconds for a warm seat to sit on. Also works well for scrubbing feet and toes.

My 80 year old mom, was experiencing an illness. It caused her to be weak and light headed, until she fully recovered. The tub she has is only 10 years old, but has a really narrow inside bottom. So a bench would not fit into the width of the tub. We tried one bench and it actually had to be half inside and half outside of the tub. That doesn't work when you're taking a shower. And when you have an old house, with a small bathroom, that's an obstacle to fall over. She still wanted to shower and have the independence, of getting in and out on her own. I'm glad I picked this for her, instead of a version where the seat rotates around. She loves its stability, where she is secure and it doesn't wobble. And she's not fearing the seat will spin, as she gets up, or moves around. She loves the adjustable height, although she keeps always keeps it at the tallest level. And it's light enough, that she can move it out to the garage, when not needed.

While I do think it's a bit overpriced, it is still a good product. Took 5 mins to put together. Quite sturdy and waterproof. Height can be adjusted very easily.

I got this for my mom and she loves it. Now she can sit on the chair and shower. It has some rubber feet so it won't slide around the shower floor. Also you can adjust the height of the chair to suit you need. It's safer to clean you legs or feet without standing on 1 leg.
