I bought this hard drive with some hesitation, but it turned out to be an excellent decision! Despite its Xbox branding, it works perfectly with my PS5. The 4TB of storage is incredibly generous, allowing me to store numerous games, media files, and more without ever running out of space.Setting it up was a breeze – I simply plugged it into my PS5's USB port, and it was good to go. Works spot on, no complaints apart from time it takes to move game from SSD to the HHD & vice versa, which I new going in from research, to get quicker times = a lot more money, so for the price is a bargain only big problem I have is have 120 games to download or transfer to it. I'm half way through now & used 1TB so far mint! It's series S/X games that take the longest as you'd expect as they're the only games you need to keep transferring back & forth to play obviously you can't play them on this harddrive but saves hrs of re-downloading games like RDR2 COD Blackops cold war GTAV all big GB games & with energy prices now that's a big plus

Great addition to my Xbox

Very fast transfer speeds when transferring games, and downloading them too.. But beware only certain xbox games are allowed to run on the hard drive with the xbox. Found myself transferring more off of there and deleting games in internal just to play them. Old titles seem to work the best with this drive. So a little disappointed on that, but not the drives fault. Just have to buy the expansion drive that goes into the back of xbox. Will use this for pc in the future... Its a pity that the xbox doesn't tell you before downloading the game that only certain titles can be played on this hard drive, even though so-called xbox optimised and recognised & certified. A list should be created so your not downloading & waiting, only to be told it can't be played from the drive, and needs transferring to internal. (Why do you think i bought it) It was instantly recognised and formatted for games and media. So a little disappointed but 4tb(3.7tb after formatting) for 119 pounds is a steal at that price. Nice touch with the green light to, my 3rd seagate drive, and had some for years and still going strong. Built to last. But check which games can be used with the drive, if you can before downloading them..

Thought having the xbox series X with 1TB would be enough storage for me tbh as most the time when I'm finished with games I delete them to add more in the future but then buying the new call of duty games etc take some much storage up so needed more storage and would of liked the cartridge one like the old playstation one's but they're over priced as cost more with less storage then the seagate hard drives so got it for a Christmas present and surprised how small and compact it is,the USB cable isn't very long tbh but use it from the port on the front of the console and tucked away up the sideLike the green light and so easy to set up and use and always transferring from main storage to hard drive,I've heard that you need to keep series s/x games on console to play but shouldn't be a problem as its easy enough to transfer back and forth

brought this specifically for the xbox and now on PC it works well still, note that if you do that same move you need to format the hard drive to get it to show and be able to work with the computer, however it will work if you go straight onto the computer.whilst the speeds aren't exactly nvme speeds but then you get 4tb for a much lower price and personally this is my second hard drive now as I like the option for space. The drive has worked since day one and hasn't crashed at all and none of the files have been corrupted since ownership. the storage is really good too, 4tb is a massive amount for games and other files plus having 2 bumping up to 8tb really there isn't much you can't download.The connection is usb is 3.2 for the better transfer speeds, again whilst you aren't getting the speeds of the nvme drives it is still really good transfer speeds.overall a great purchase the compact size does allow for easy portability if you need too, and the light green bar does give a little nice flair to the drive. The drive also comes with a 1 year backup warranty if anything is lost which is a nice additional touch to purchasing this the drives have not missed a beat and thoroughly happy with my purchases.

I use this drive to expand my storage for my xbox series S. Although you can not run any games that are optimised for series S you can copy them so you don't have to redownload your games. Coping takes minutes and this allows for more games in your library. Also xbox one, 360 and original xbox games can run from this drive directly. 4TB is plenty of space for older games or is about 3 to 5 newer games. I found this a good alternative to the (in my opinion) pricey 1 TB expansion card.

Great Hard drive. Easy to set up & use with lots of storage. But like any hard drive there is certain games you can’t play on there. Like;2022 Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Persona 5 Royal, Among Us, World Of Tanks, Microsoft Flight Simulator, GTA Online (Xbox Series S|X) & Fall Guys.But every other game should work on there. This hard drive has been a big help when storing my games.What I’m trying to say is any series S|X compatible game will need an expansion card to still be playable but everything else will be fine.

Es compatible con xbox serie S, y se puede copiar en el todos los juegos posibles,aunque no todos funcionan en el disco duro,pero los puedes pasar al disco interno, un juego de 100gb como ejemplo el nba 2k23,tarda en pasar del disco duro al interno de 10m a 15m como mucho,esta muy bien, lo recomiendo, tengo en la actualidad entre demos,juegos gratuitos y juegos enteros unos 90 juegos en disco duro y solo va el 60% de capacidad,además muchos de esos 90 funcionan directamente desde el disco duro, así que genial, estoy encantado.
