It’s perfect!
It came well packaged with two pieces of cardboard on either side to keep it from bending. Everything is immaculate with the correct notations and easy to read. I bought this for my viola juries and the judges loved it! It’s just like the cello version, just up an octave so if you’ve always wanted to play this but play viola and not cello, trust me, it’s worth it!

for intermediate to advanced players
this is a lovely piece. that lays out very nicely on the viola. Very good for teaching lyrical lines and and bow control, and intonation. This very famous cello piece, is a staple and very good for violist to be exposed to. I would recommend for very good intermediate to advance players because of musical sensitivity need to efectively play the piece. There is shifting on the G-string and D-string.
