Question 1

What makes the Premium Series different?

Accepted Answer

Premium Series — Stands out with a shiny silver metallic finish that catches the light and gives your truck a sleek, upgraded look. Built to last with the longest 5-year outdooor use.

Question 2

What makes the Peel & Stick Series different?

Accepted Answer

Peel & Stick Series — Easy dry application with an air-release liner: peel, place, and squeegee to activate the adhesive (no water or slip solution needed). Clean standard-print finish that matches the look most trucks come with.

Question 3

What makes the Diamond Series different?

Accepted Answer

Diamond Series — Flagship tier with the closest-to-factory color match plus a fine diamond-glitter texture that sparkles in sunlight. Dry air-release install and a 3-year outdoor use.

Question 4

Why do both FX4 decals look the same instead of being mirror images?

Accepted Answer

Because the FX4 Off Road design contains text, mirroring it would make the lettering backwards and unreadable. This follows the same typographical standard used by Ford and all aftermarket automotive manufacturers. Both decals are identical.

Question 5

What surface prep is required before applying the Premium Series decal?

Accepted Answer

Clean the panel with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely before applying the slip solution. Do NOT install over wax, ceramic coating, or shine spray — adhesion will fail. Best results at 60–90°F.

Question 6

What Ford trucks are FX4 Off Road Premium Series decals compatible with?

Accepted Answer

Compatible with full-size Ford trucks — F-150, F-250, and F-350 — with the FX4 Off Road package. Decal size is 16.5" × 4.3". Ranger and Maverick FX4 require a different, smaller decal. Confirm your model before ordering.

Question 7

What colors does the FX4 Off Road Premium Series come in?

Accepted Answer

Available in Black & Red, Gray, and Charcoal — all with the metallic OEM-look finish. Charcoal leads for blacked-out builds. Black & Red delivers classic FX4 factory contrast. Gray suits understated OEM restoration.

Question 8

What comes in the box with each FX4 Off Road Premium Series order?

Accepted Answer

Each order includes 2 FX4 Off Road Premium Series decals — one for each side of your truck — plus complete installation instructions. Both decals are identical and ready to apply. No additional hardware required.

Question 9

How long do FX4 Premium Series decal colors stay vibrant outdoors?

Accepted Answer

5+ years, outdoor rated — the longest durability in the GOLD HOOK lineup. The UV-inhibitor laminate is engineered to hold the OEM-accurate metallic finish through daily driving, weather exposure, and direct sunlight year after year.
