Ethos Detox - Ceramic Coating Prep Spray, Panel Wipe, Glass Cleaner - Prep Ceramic Coating, Wax, or Sealant - Multi-Purpose Formula - Leaves Nothing But the Shine

I’ve tried to remove ceramic coating in the past with little success. Breaking out the buffer to properly remove it wasn’t a real option at the time. Having a new project I wanted to get done, I tried this product and it worked. After the first application I could see a difference in the paint’s finish but also I could feel the drag in my cloth as I cleaned the surface as I went along. I took some masking tape and stuck the area and saw it wanted to stick whereas before, it would immediately start to peel or roll up. Because this was an expensive project I went over the area with isopropyl alcohol for safe measure and again with the product and I knew my surface area was ceramic coating free. Did my application of my parts and they stuck! Even before final affixing when I needed to make slight adjustments it was hard to do and the 3M double sided automotive tape did not pull up from its application.Highly recommend this product for ceramic coating removal and its paint safe, at least in my experience.

This wax goes on and comes off like butter. It’s incredible works great wash the truck three times since I’ve had it water be dried up very easy to clean great ceramic wax.

Haven’t loved a lot of of the ethos exterior stuff, but I really like this spray

I finally got chance to try this.Gave the car a thorough wash today. I tried it out on the trunk area. Goes on wet and with a little rubbing with a microfiber towel it wipes away. Eventually it all evaporates off.I rubbed my fingers across the paint and it feels like it stripped all the wax and soap residue. I have some ceramic spray so I tried that out.Then I moved to the hood. I did one half to experiment as I have hard water stains on my hood. It slightly gets reduces the hard water spots but I had to use another method to get rid of them. Sprayed this again and used my ceramic spray. Buffs to a nice shine.The other half of the hood did same prep but tried a paste wax. It adhered well too and buffed to a nice deep shine.Smells good ( not too worried about smells for prep products but it's not chemically smelling).Also works on glass too leaving no streaks. It mentions it on directions so I had to try. Definitely works.

I love the Ethos brand of detailing product and I have used a lot of them on my vehicles. Having a detox spray is a must step if you are going to machine polish your vehicle and then ceramic coat it yourself. After cleaning the car thoroughly, doing a clay bar treatment, and polishing, you follow up with this spray. This removes any residual wax or oils from the polishing step to make sure your paint is as clean as possible for your coating or wax to bond. It took a little less than half a bottle to thoroughly do my entire minivan, so you are probably going to get 2 to 3 applications out of this which will last way longer than you think if you maintain your coatings.
