I have a 12 pound Maltipoo who needs to be near my wife when in the car. If he isn’t, he whines and barks. We got this to try in my Ford F-150 center console and it fit perfect. Our dog had a lot less anxiety traveling from FL to TX in this seat. The fold down front made for a nice stand when he was awake and pillow when he got tired. He could look out the front window and get plenty of air from the front vents. The tether strap to hold our pup in was a little long and I made some adjustments to make it safe. The seat was easy to install as there are 2 straps with Velcro to wrap around the console lid. I found that 1 wrapped around it and the 2nd I wrapped around the back to keep the seat from sliding forward. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a car seat for a pup under 15 pounds.

I like that you can take it out of your vehicle and it goes from a car seat to a pet carrier with shoulder straps. I can sit the seat in a shopping cart and not worry about my small dog jumping out.

We were going camping and needed a way to bring the dog. I bought the Large Console Dog Car Seat to use in my 2013 Ram Pickup. It's a regular cab with no backseat so I needed to put her on the console and this worked perfectly! It fit like it was made for the center console and she loved it. She's a Bichon Yorkie who weighs in at 18 pounds. There was enough room for her to sleep comfortably and turn around and she really liked being able to look out the window. The only downsides; 1) the straps to secure it to the console are elastic (probably so they can fit multiple vehicles) and use velcro- it would be great if they were made of seatbelt material and had buckles; and, 2) the strap that hooks to the dog's harness is long and not adjustable. That being said, it was a great purchase and I'm very happy with it.

My 12 lb Shitzu fits perfect in it. Very comfy for her. The only thing is the straps underneath aren’t too strong or tight enough. I rather see wider and tighter straps. Otherwise amazing product … very sturdy.

We bought our first one of these in July 2022 and we were very happy with it. We ordered another in November 2023 and noticed that the quality has gone way down! The sides are flimsy and half the thickness of the older car seat. I ordered by using the “buy again” option, so I know it’s the same model. I guess they have gone with a cheaper manufacturer now. I’ll keep it, but I am disappointed.

Works great in my YukonXL Good quality. The seatbelt tether was waaay to long. I shortened and knotted it so it would stay! Highly recommend! Maizie approved!

This is perfect for my dog who loves to sit up high and look out the window when she rides. She does so much better in this than a bed in the back seat or sitting in my lap! Great purchase. Our dog is 12.5 lbs and fits perfectly.

Purchased for our 2 yo Shih-poo (~12 lbs) for a road trip to visit family. In the past she has always been super anxious in the car, and continually climbed back and forth between me & my husbands laps and tried to burrow under our arms to calm herself, which made trying to drive quite uncomfortable and a little harrowing. She also got carsick often so that made trips with her even more stressful to the point where we just had to start leaving her with sitters instead of taking her with us when we traveled even though she hates being away from us and we hated having to leave her. I saw an ad for one of these on FB and decided to give it a shot and it made an amazing difference! It took no time at all to install in our Lincoln Nautilus and she took to it right away and made the 5 hour drive with no panic attacks and no car sickness! She loves being able to sit up and see out and it’s big enough, but still cozy, for her to snuggle into it and nap. Absolutely hands down one of my favorite Amazon purchases. Looking forward to many more road-trips with our sweet girl.

We use this for our cat, who luvs it so much more than travelling in a cat box. He likes to see where he’s going. He even dozes off in it. We use a harness on him and attach it to this, as this product also has a clip on it so works well. We use an empty shoebox at back to support the back end which works well. He has a big cage in the car with a litter box in so we just unclip him when he needs to use the “facilities” 😊

This is exactly what I was looking for for my 4 lb chihuahua. She fits comfortably in it, and it does not slip around while the car is in motion. Thank you!

It’s awesome. Now my little buddy can sit beside me safely as we are cruising down the highway. Safety hook so he can be attached in case of sudden braking or swerving etc. This car seat is definitely a great choice ! Looks good and is well made !
