This is an improved model, with a better design for the end cap/switch, so it should work better. It works and is a unique tool to help with getting a spot light on areas that are hard to access. Don't store it with batteries inside if you don't use it weekly. For the price, it works great. Review: Works great! - These lights are amazing to hand on hand. Makes seeing in tight, dark areas SO much easier. ## Features - Bright light- high-intensity incandescent bulb produces bright light - Compact tip - 5/32-inch diameter bulb tip fits into tight spaces for use in maintenance and inspections - Flexible - 9.5 in. It's junk. Poorly made. Doesn't last long enough to even consider lumens. And the replacement bulbs are a rip off. **Q: Is it possible to bend the flexible shaft in different angles and lenghts?** A: Yes, it can be bent in any direction even compound angles **Q: what are the dimensions?** A: Full length 11 3/4 inches. Flexible portion 4". Sufficient for smaller spaces. Most importantly, the light is less than 1/4" - just 5 millimetres in diameter. Very handy. **Q: Can i order a base replacement? Batteries corroded and the button is stuck.** A: Try some Baking Soda and water. Mix to a gel or paste. Use a Q-tip. It will clean the battery connections. You may also soak the switch in a more liquid form of it. Maybe a couple of drops of WD40 in the switch. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Like most, its a replacement *by M***K on June 28, 2021* I bought one in the 1990s to inspect a wing spar and when I picked it up this year, the switch had broken and there wasn't a way to fix it, so a new one was in order. Makes seeing in tight, dark areas SO much easier. ### ⭐ Flimsy junk breaks easily. You have been notified. *by J***O on April 10, 2026* I should have read the other reviews. No real mechanic would use this junk. It's all flimsy plastic. Screw it together and it immediately breaks. Light switch always on. Light not bright. Plastic cover (hexagon end) won't fit over end to double length. This is a fail. I sent it back. Don't waste your money. Buy steel or aluminum. ## Frequently Bought Together - Steelman 16-inch Bend-A-Light Pro Automotive Inspection Light, 9.5-inch Flexible Gooseneck, 5/32-inch Diameter Bulb, Mechanic Light - Steelman Bend-A-Light Pro Replacement Bulb, Compatible 16 and 11-Inch Mini Pro - Steelman 95887 2AAA LED Pen Light with Flexible Neck --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/3532317-steelman16-inch-automotive-bend-a-light-pro-9-5-inch](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/3532317-steelman16-inch-automotive-bend-a-light-pro-9-5-inch) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
