(max 2 hours of weekly usage)** A: My best iron yet. I think it's about 18months old and is as good as new. No loss of steam pressure like my previous irons. but i have used de-ionized water since i have purchased it. Hope this helps you **Q: Does this have iron an automatic switch off** A: This iron was the worst iron I've ever bought after 4 days of use it spat out a dirty brown stain all over a white shirt and stained the sole plate it was sent back for a refund so do not buy it, I have had Tefal irons for many years but this one was a bad one. To answer your question I'm not a 100% it does. **Q: does it come with a Uk power plug moulded or non moulded power plug?** A: Hello, This Steam Generator Iron does come with a moulded UK 3 pin plug. If you live in a hard water area like us (Kent) you will need to use ionised water or it will scale up very quickly. This can be bought at ironmongers, I buy it by the gallon can. ## Frequently Bought Together - Tefal High Pressure Steam Generator Iron, 135g/min Steam Output, Non-Stick Durilium Soleplate, 540g/min Steam Boost, 7.5-Pump Bars with Pro Express Protect Technology, White & Burgundy, (GV9220) - Carplan De-ionised Water, Batteries & Steam Irons, Energy Class A+++, 2.5 Litres --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/353293026-tefal-pro-express-protect-steam-generator-iron-7-5-bar](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/353293026-tefal-pro-express-protect-steam-generator-iron-7-5-bar) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
