Peek Freans Fruit Crème 300g/10.6oz {Imported from Canada}

These are my favourite cookies we would get as a treat when I was a kid growing up in Canada. There is nothing like it in the US so I paid way too much to get these but MAN is it worth it. The chewy jelly centre is my favourite and the texture of the cookie is perfect. The creme is not too sweet. Obsessed with these little guys. Might be mostly nostalgia, but I love them. They did arrive quite battered but they were still fresh. Just a bit messy.

I loved these when I lived abroad- they are my dad's favorite. Excited to find them here. My 90 year old father's eyes lit up when I brought them to him for tea a few weeks ago.

Absolutely wonderful!!! These are just as I remember them from when I was a kid. Different brand of course but somehow it’s the same cookies!!! Not too sweet and you can tell they are made in Canada because there are no preservatives and nasty fake sugar just clean yummy ingredients!!

I purchased the box of Peek Freans Fruit Creme in May 2021. The box arrived within a couple of days and I immediately noted the expiry date, 2021 Aug 2. Five cookies inside the sealed package were broken and the cookies did not look fresh/new. Since the box is non-returnable, I tried a couple of bites of one cookie. It tasted nothing like those that I used to buy in Canada at Safeway. The cost for this box is "highway robbery" and I purchased these only to capture a taste of home. So, what was once an occasional afternoon treat with a cup of tea will be now be a cherished memory. This batch of cookies were mourned and properly buried in the compost.

Love these. They taste amazing. Can’t find them in the US. Not sure why but very happy I found them again.

Gotta pay through the nose for these since those maple leaf boys don't ship down here anymore, they don't taste as high quality as the classic ones from the 80's but its a reasonably close imitation of the OG cookies with modern crap ingredients replacing the good stuff. I'm tempted as hell to drive up and buy some cases to corner the market in the USA on these since they go for triple the price right now but hey I respect the hustle guys and you def got my money lol. Price isn't worth repeat purchases beyond nostalgia but cookie is just ok overall if you're not a fan of the original and was coming at it from a first time perspective.

I definitely got that nostalgia kick when I tasted these again after so many years, but the truth is that they aren't actually that good. As everyone else said, the cookies arrived broken, smashed, and in pieces due to shipping. They are also much harder/crunchier than I remember, and not in a good way. Overall, the flavor was just okay. I'd buy these again if I happened upon them in a store, but I would not order them again online.

I've been looking for these biscuits for months. They are wonderful. It was like reliving a moment 25 years ago. Wonderful cookies.

This is one of those treat's that everyone tries as a kid and then promptly forget exists as they get older. I remember these cookies as something that I never asked for but in the few times they showed up I was always pleasantly surprised. I bought this purely for nostalgia's sake. I wanted to see if it would hold up. I was, well... Pleasantly surprised? I'm not going to say this is the best cookie ever, but it's tasty. It's very light, biscuit on vanilla with a splash of raspberry. The raspberry tastes a bit artificial, but there's not enough of it to overpower the rest of the cookie. In terms of nutrition, it's not that bad compared to other sugary snacks. 4-5 cookies is about equal to a standard sized candy bar in sugar and calories. Since they are in individual cookie form, you can pace yourself if you'd like. Couple cookies a day is a nice treat. I enjoyed these cookies, would recommend.

Always one of my favorites, unlike most things they haven't changed at all in my lifetime. Sadly a few orders have them arrive quite broken inside even without the packaging looking worse for wear, I guess they just don't travel well. No big deal, they still taste the same, and they're just for personal use, not presentation. I would purchase them more often as they're usually a few dollars cheaper on Amazon, but they've been out of stock for months.
