Works well to clean grime
This vinyl prep spray works well to get surface grime off boat seats prior to using their vinyl coat spray. It does not take off imbedded molding areas. It is easy to use- just spray on and wipe away. It is a flammable product with some fumes so best to use outdoors. I feel using this before the vinyl coat was key to the paint’s adhesion. Highly recommend.

I've used it before with total success by following directions precisely.The only problem I have is finding a tape that sticks to vinyl after cleaning with 409, then sem soap. The best I've found so far is heavy duty contractor grade 2020 masking tape..
