ALWAYS use genuine Ford parts!
These fit my 2014 Ford Explorer Base model and worked great! As always with ANY brake job, you must resurface your rotors to have a proper brake job and you should always use genuine Ford parts. These were legit Motorcraft and I confirmed the part number with my local Ford dealership using the VIN of my vehicle and so should you. Best purchase by far and worth every penny!

all I heard was the wife complaining that the brakes sucked (and squealed
6 months ago, I installed some "Wagner Thermoquiet" pads on our Explorer at the same time as new ford motorcraft rotors. From that point on, all I heard was the wife complaining that the brakes sucked (and squealed... so much for the 'quiet' in "Thermoquiet"). Got tired of hearing both the brakes and the wife squeal so I got the factory pads, installed them and boom, the brakes stop the truck just like when it was new. No more squealing (from truck or wife).I've been going with factory brake pads for years, and the one time I tried something different, it reminded why I'd been deciding to do that. Stick with factory stuff. Nowdays, places like Amazon keep the prices close to the same as aftermarket so might as well go with what came on the vehicle originally.

Part didn’t fit my Explorer!
I bought this brake pads for my Ford Explorer 2015 XLT but they didnt fit. Amazon has a wrong fit suggestion, since I bought them according to their recommendations!

Much like many others, these DO NOT FIT a 2013 Ford Exploder. Contrary to amazon filtering to “my garage” and telling me “these do fit”...not even close. If amazon has an option to verify part with VIN this might solve the issue as this car comes with a few different brake options.So I’ve got my right side off and now need to run out and buy the correct ones.Comes with grease, clips, and spring. Quality OEM product, fit and finish is good. So here’s your star.Cant give 5 because I never installed do to fitment.
