I bought three of these for my children ages 2, 6, and 9. It is appropriate for all three. The youtube works and plays videos just fine. My children have downloaded multiple games with no problems with the memory. It's been five days. The only complaint came from my nine year old who says she liked her old tablet which was a Samsung Galaxy better, because it stayed charged longer. Of course, all she has to do is plug it in to charge it, so it's not a big deal. Her Samsung tablet was also $125. dollar on sale vs. I got two of these for $28.00 a piece on black Friday. It's a great deal for the money. They have been working great. I also received my tablet quickly with no problems from the seller.

I have bought 3 rca tablets 3 different styles and everyone I have owed has broke on its on will the screen went out on the first one after only 2 weeks the and it wasn't the whole screen it was the bottom about an inch of the screen you couldnt touch the second tablet did OK for about 3months than the oddest spots you couldn't touch you would have to turn the tablet 8 different times just to spell one word because certain spots you couldn't touch plus the sound and screen imagine was awful the colors was very dull and bland and very hard to adjust the 3rd tablet which I recently purchased from amazon I received on the 23rd if December I let it charge came back on the 24th and set it up play on it for a little bit put it back in my computer bag went to turn it on the 25th and Nada I tried charging it with 2 other chargers that I had I left it on the charger nothing it would not come back on after several hours of attempts I gave up and decided to send back to amazon I will never buy another rca ever again I am in the process of looking at Samsung's they are a little bit more in price and less space for the price I want but I will make due I would rather a working tablet for the price I bought all 3 tablets I could have bought a nice Samsung with decent storage luckily the last one went out in the time frame where it was able to be sent back the first one would have been but it was bought in November as a Christmas present and broke 2weeks after I opened it so it was to late to send back....

FOR THE PRICE this is a great tablet. They have a decent screen, a good amount of memory and a fast CPU. The build quality is decent, seems strong enough to be played with by a young adult but I didn't stress test that myself. I got three of them for the nephews and loaded each up with about 30 games with lots of room for more. Tested the games and they all ran well. The downsides are the camera quality is bad, the battery life is short (A few hours) and there is no GPS built in so you can't play games like Pokemon Go. Overall I think they did a great job of balancing price and performance.

this tablet has the worst battery life I've ever experienced in all my years of owning portable electronics. A battery charged to 100 per cent will drop to less than half in less than 30 minutes. It is fine if you do not mind being plugged in while you use it but if you are an active person or like to take your tablet with you pack a charger because this one will die on you rapidly. Also the case that is made for this model has a couple of issues. The unit will over heat, freeze and shut down after less than 30 minutes. The second issue is that it does tend to cover the proprietary charging port and since this is the cord they send with the tablet it makes it a little difficult to charge.

For the price this tablet is amazing. We bought two, one for each of our toddlers. They are a bit slow and laggy, but nothing that would shy me away from buying this again. The only real downside is the baterm life. It's only about 3 hours of actime use so these tablets are plugged in a lot. I do worry about the ling term effects of that. However, for the price, I can't really complain if they need to be replaced in a year.These are great for my boys who are 2.5 and 4. They're user friendly and easy to navigate. I worried that my kids would constantly need help feeding to their apps but they manage them on their own amazingly well. They can adjust the volume, turn the screen on and off, change apps, and navigate Netflix.The storage space is very adequate. The kids probably have 20-30 apps on each tablet and I've yet to get any space warningsI know a lot of people are against screen time for young kids but my kids have learned so much from these apps that I can't even believe it. My 4 y.o. has taken an amazing interest in learning. I can see his curiosity is booming. He's learning kindergarten and 1st grade material. Our 2 y.o. has been afraid of bedtime for as long as I can remember and now he puts himself to bed without a fight or tears because he watch a littletter bit of his favorite show before I call lights out.These are such a great value. I would absolutely buy again.

I had seen these at Walmart and planned on getting one when we could, seeing as it is very inexpensive and a well known brand name. Then I received an Amazon GC and decided to finally get one that way.We really tried to give this tablet the benefit of the doubt, even though when it arrived it seemed somewhat poorly constructed and very light and 'plasticky' like a toy, with a little flimsy dc connector with a pin-type plug. Even when it seemed like the back was getting way too hot after not being on very long in use, we still tried to make the most of it. After a few weeks of very little use at all however, it developed a white line across the front of the screen that would not go away, and we had to face the fact that this is just not a good product. I returned it and got the money back, and the seller Alphaben was very helpful with the return. It just goes to show you that a recognizable brand name is not always an indication of a well made product. I would not recommend this item to anyone.EDIT: I forgot to point out that the item description is wrong as far as how much this tablet weighs, it does not weigh 1.1lb but rather .61 lb.
