I really like these and you can wear them with a lot of different things. I got the black and the light brown and they’re both really nice. They stretch well and could probably fit a lot of different sized bodies but definitely still check the size chart. One thing that made me pick these over a lot of other similar suspender belts is that they have button snaps in the back instead of Velcro. I have a Velcro corset belt and I just a hate it. The button closures are so much easier to use and don’t pill the back of my dresses.The only thing I took a star off for was I had the same issue others had with the suspenders falling down off the shoulders. I fixed it myself by seam ripping them off the back and resewing them closer together (right up against the leather for the buttons. I included a picture of where to move them to if you want to fix this problem too) and this fixed the fit issue but I always knock a star off if I have to sew something myself.

Like many have already said, the straps fall down. I added a horizontal strap at the back (wih velcro), that helped a lot. But it still will fall when you're not paying attention.Overall though, it does it's job and works great as part of a costume. It helps tie the whole outfit together.

I love everything by scarlet darkness! They look good with any outfit (especially Renaissance), the quality is nice and usually (if not all) their clothes are machine washable! Did I mention that their skirts have pockets?? 😏

strap length for women with larger boobs - if you have a long waist this may not work for you

I love this as an add on to an outfit. But it over my grunge fairy dress. Looks like it was made for it!

The effect was created by these, but they were uncomfortable in the heat of the RenFaire & were constantly slipping off my shoulders even at the tightest they would go and it seemed to get worse as the weekend went on. If you get them I would recommend wearing them around the house for a bit to see what level your straps should be.

I can’t wait to make all kinds of cute outfits with this belt! I wanted it to fit pretty snug and since it’s just elastic I decided to go two sizes down from what they suggested (M instead of XL) and it fits just how I wanted. That being said, the snaps are not very strong, so because it’s tighter they came open a couple of times, but overall were okay even during an eight hour shift at work.Also, like another review mentioned, the shoulder straps are wide in the back and kept slipping off. They weren’t long enough for me to cross in the back, so I’ll have to find another solution.Overall, pretty solid for the price!
