Product Description Sacla Italia Tomato and Garlic Stir Through Sauce is the perfect substitute for tomato purée when a recipe calls for it. A profusion of Italian sun-dried tomatoes and a generous fistful of fresh garlic create a deceptively simple but intense sauce that's so rich. Stir it through a pan of warm and steaming pasta or keep it on hand as the perfect topping for your pizza base. Ingredients Vine-Ripened tomatoes (diced tomato and tomato juice), vegetable oil blend (rapeseed oil, sunflower oil), rehydrated sun-dried tomatoes (16%), tomato flakes, Italian basil, garlic (3%), fructose, sea salt, natural flavouring, acidity regulator: lactic acid, antioxidant: SULPHUR DIOXIDE.

DELICIOUS sundried tomato taste...
I got this as it was one of the few vegan sauces in the range - glad I did, It’s delicious! It’s an oily sauce and reminds me more of red pesto (or Dolmio's little stir-in pots) than a tomato-based pasta sauce but it’s packed with flavour and a little goes a long way. The sundried tomato flavour is wonderful; the garlic aspect is fairly mellow so it adds depth to round out the overall flavour rather than stealing the whole show.I think it’s a highly versatile sauce that works well in pretty much everything! Use it in pasta, grilled sandwiches, gnocchi, tofu scramble, wraps, as a marinade or as a quick sauce for pizza bagels or baguettes. You can also stir it through plain hummus for a tasty twist. You might be disappointed if you want an intense garlic taste but I think it’s well-balanced and really like it.

Good product, poor packaging
Product itself is good, as it is well known for its name and reputation.But the packaging was one of the worst. It's a glass jar, but the packaging was just in a paper pocket. That's all. No protection at all. If it was broken, I must have very annoying return and claim procedures. What a nonsense!!
