Love the Philips Hue Gradient Lightstrip effects and it's easy to setup, various beautiful gradient color effects can be set on the Philips Hue app, connection with Philips Hue Bridge are very stable, works well with Google Assistant. Smart lighting is already in the consumer market for almost 10 years, I truly hope Philips Hue products price can be more affordable, it's too expensive still compare to other brands which has similar features. Overall, I'm delighted the purchase. Hope I could add more Philips Hue lightings to my home in the future with more affordable prices. 💜🤞🏼 Philips Hue fan from Malaysia 🇲🇾

Purchased this product three times and had to return everyone because of the same faults. If not straight away, within a few days sections of the lights fail by not working at all or displaying the wrong colour. These run in cycles of six so you end up with a 4 inch patch that does not match the strips colour… To add the adhesion to anything other than glass is absolutely rubbish, if you’re lucky for them to work long enough, within a couple of days They just come unstuck and fall off… And why on earth someone thought it would be a good idea to cut the backing paper to get to the adhesion into 20 separate pieces which need to be peeled off 1 by 1 before you can stick it to anything, is beyond my comprehension…!!!

As far as lighting like this goes, this is really the top-end. You won’t find much in a similar price range and be aware that cheaper alternatives do exist; despite this, this is a very good product. The quality of the colours and brightness of the light strip as a whole goes unmatched with anything else I’ve seen before. If you can afford it then I’d honestly go for it. Note: when I first received the product, it came damaged. I tried plugging in extensions and the port basically fell off, but Amazon replaced it next day

Really good light which we used for behind a picture. We had to curve it loose at the corners otherwise you can damage it. A good length for what we needed it for. It did away the need for a table lamp, and instead gives a modern look. Can’t wait to change the colours for a Halloween look.

This is worth the extra, to get the Gradient version. The colour transition is much more pleasant. The strip is excellent quality, it’s easy to trim. Functionality via the app is superb. It looks a hundred times better than cheaper strips. It doesn’t stick very well though, keeps unpeeling itself. Will have to purchase third party tape for this.

totally love this light strip as a new addition to our Philips hue household. We have had lightbulbs from Philips hue for the last few years and we were looking for a new light strip for our TV unit. As can be expected from Philips it’s a fantastic product and integrates with system easily, we have only been using it for a week or so. I like the fact that there are 3 zones of lights in the strip which all blend in together. It’s a little pricey for the length that you get, we ideally would have needed to trim a tiny part off, but because you can only trim to where they advise we would have been loosing a sizeable chunk for the price it costs. We compromised and had a small overhang with the wire at the end of the TV unit that we dont really see. All in all a fantastic product

The Philips lighting system and app are excellent. The product itself is awful. I have 5 light strips now and every single one I have had to affix my own double sided super strong tape to get them to stay in place. The tape Philips provide with the light strips does not stick to anything.

Ich habe den Philips Hue Gradient Lightstrip gekauft, um eine indirekte Beleuchtung mit wundervollen Farbverläufen hinter meinem Sideboard zu schaffen. Vorab hatte ich Bedenken, weil der Lightstrip bei mir gekürzt werden musste – und bei einem solch hochwertigen Produkt wollte ich natürlich nichts falsch machen. Hier eine detaillierte Beschreibung meiner Schritte, falls andere Käufer ebenfalls kürzen möchten und sich dabei unsicher fühlen: 1. Planung und Positionierung: Zuerst habe ich das gesamte Lightstrip-Set einmal ausgepackt und auf einer flachen Oberfläche ausgerollt, um die Länge zu überprüfen. Der Plan war, den Lightstrip hinter meinem Sideboard zu befestigen, um eine indirekte Beleuchtung zu erzeugen. Da das Sideboard jedoch kürzer als der Lightstrip war, musste ich ihn kürzen. 2. Finden der Markierung zum Kürzen: Am Lightstrip selbst gibt es an bestimmten Abständen Markierungen, die als Schnittpunkte dienen. Diese sind durch kleine, dreieckige Symbole an der Seite des Bands gekennzeichnet. Die Markierungen sind speziell für das Kürzen vorgesehen und gewährleisten, dass die verbleibenden LEDs auch nach dem Schnitt noch richtig funktionieren. Wichtig: Die Umhüllung des Lightstrips ist nicht transparent, sondern eher milchig. Daher war es mir nicht möglich, die LEDs oder die Verkabelung direkt zu sehen, wie man es vielleicht von einfacheren LED-Bändern kennt. Dennoch ist diese Markierung gut erkennbar und darauf ausgelegt, zuverlässig zu sein. 3. Vorbereitung des Schnitts: Ich habe zuerst die Markierung mit einem scharfen Messer vorsichtig angeritzt, um die Position genau zu bestimmen und sicherzugehen, dass ich an der richtigen Stelle schneide. Dies hilft dabei, den Schnittpunkt wirklich präzise zu setzen. Da ich das erste Mal einen solch hochwertigen Lightstrip kürzen musste, habe ich mir Zeit genommen, alles doppelt zu prüfen. Ich empfehle, dabei geduldig zu sein und keine Hektik aufkommen zu lassen. 4. Der Schnitt selbst: Mit einer scharfen Haushaltsschere habe ich den Lightstrip schließlich an der vorbereiteten Stelle durchgeschnitten. Dabei habe ich darauf geachtet, einen glatten, sauberen Schnitt zu setzen. Nachdem der Schnitt erfolgt war, habe ich das Band vorsichtig inspiziert, um sicherzustellen, dass die Enden sauber waren. 5. Überprüfung und erste Inbetriebnahme: Nach dem Kürzen habe ich den Lightstrip sofort an den Strom angeschlossen und über die Philips Hue App gesteuert, um sicherzustellen, dass er einwandfrei funktioniert. Die Farbverläufe wurden automatisch an die kürzere Länge angepasst und sahen fantastisch aus. Alles leuchtete wie gewünscht, und die Lichtübergänge waren sanft und nahtlos – ein toller Effekt! 6. Befestigung für indirekte Beleuchtung: Ich habe im Baumarkt eine schmale Holzleiste in der Länge meines Sideboards besorgt und diese etwa 3-4 cm von der Oberkante auf der Rückseite des Sideboards angebracht. So dient die Leiste als ideale Trägerfläche für den Lightstrip, ohne dass dieser direkt oben auf dem Sideboard oder an der Wand befestigt werden muss. Den Lightstrip habe ich dann auf der Holzleiste so platziert, dass die LEDs in Richtung Decke leuchten, was einen gleichmäßigen und sanften Farbverlauf nach oben erzeugt. Durch diese Positionierung wird das Licht indirekt gestreut und sorgt für einen besonders schönen Effekt im Raum. Fazit: Insgesamt war die Kürzung und Installation des Philips Hue Gradient Lightstrip wesentlich einfacher als ich ursprünglich dachte. Dank der klaren Markierungen und der hochwertigen Verarbeitung war das Kürzen völlig unproblematisch. Die Lichteffekte und Farbverläufe sind absolut beeindruckend und erzeugen genau die stimmungsvolle, indirekte Beleuchtung, die ich mir vorgestellt habe. Tipp für andere Käufer: Falls ihr den Lightstrip ebenfalls kürzen möchtet, habt keine Angst – mit ein wenig Vorbereitung und einem ruhigen Vorgehen ist es wirklich gut machbar.

Estamos encantados, son caras pero merece la pena, sincronizan perfectamente con mi televisor Philips, tanto si lo pongo que siga la imagen, como con el sonido. Sí se usan de forma independiente también tiene efectos muy chulos. Fáciles de instalar.
