Excellent price per-powerport, lots of great unexpected extras
This is an excellent powerpole distribution center - the price per port is good, and the construction quality is great. Opening the box is quite the surprise, as a double set of fuses are provided, a fuse puller, 3M dual-lock mounts, and most surprising of all - a full set of powerpole connectors (30A and their housings) that you can use to terminate some connections of your own to plug in to the unit, and some very nice connector covers.I have one of "those other brands" (A West Mountain Radio unit) and it's great as well, but this unit is less expensive per-port, and very on-par build-quality wise. I've also built my own from a ham local to my area (K9JEB), and while that was a fun soldering project and it works well, I value my time enough to buy more of these Windcamp units in the future, and I can't help but suggest the same to my friends.I would have giving this a 5-star rating if I only received the distribution board and the required fuses, but the extras also make me feel good about supporting the maker, amateur radio operator BD7MYM. Thank you, Wei!

Good product and price
Good product at a fair price. This is the second one of these power splitters that I have purchased and they work great.

Nicely made, but may be overrated for power capacity
The unit is nicely built and comes with Power Pole-compatible connectors and cable boots, which is nice if you don't have a collection of PP connectors. It also comes with fuses, including a few extra. As has been pointed out by others however, they only supply a couple of 5A and 10A fuses and the rest are up to 40A fuses. That would be fine if the unit could handle that power, but I opened up the unit and it does not use a solid common copper distribution block, as do more expensive power distribution blocks. Everything is connected through a simple circuit board, which means one has to be skeptical that this unit is suitable for multiple circuits that require 40A fuses! Further, unlike the name brand power distribution blocks common in the Ham radio and astrophotography fields, this unit is just a set of connectors attached through a circuit board, there are no RFI capacitors on each circuit to prevent RFI, again, as does the higher priced, more popular brand. All that said, it appears to be well made and comes with useful accessories. I would not recommend this for high power applications or in RFI-sensitive applications, but for distributing power to a number of low power items, I think it will work well. In my case, it's being used as a distribution block for an astrophotography imaging set up, so a fan, cooled camera, USB block, telescope mount, light panel, etc.

Nice power distribution block for my ham radio go-box
This distribution block appears to be well made and it is very compact so it fits nicely in my radio go-box. I did not open the case to see how the internals are constructed, but I was able to connect all of the components to the block and did not experience any issues with getting power to everything. Voltage also measured accurately through a volt meter. One thing to be aware of is that the connectors are not genuine PowerPole connectors. That said, they look virtually identical, the quality appears comparable, and I didn't have any issues connecting Anderson connectors to the installed generic connectors. The block comes with a variety of fuses installed as well as an additional set of replacement fuses, which are the standard blade style automotive fuses. They even throw in a fuse puller. For the cost of this set compared with the similar product sold by a different well-known manufacturer, this is an excellent value.

Solid quality, great value
Works great for my ham shack. I really appreciate the extras - velcro mounting kit and spare fuses! Solid construction and much cheaper than a certain other brand. I bought another for my go-kit. I was worried about the velcro but it's very strong adhesive.I only wish they made one in a horizontal config (I mount it on top of my desk, not on the wall). There's a lot of strain on the power cords coming out of the top, hanging behind the desk and looping back up to the radios.

Excellent!
As a new Ham this was first exposure to Anderson fittings. What an amazing improvement on the cosmetic looks of all my wires under the bench. Very easy to use, works great. I needed something I could connect and disconnect quickly. This does the trick. Each socket even comes with it's own fuse. Plus, you get extra fuses in case you need one. They appear to be common auto fuses so I don't foresee problems in replacing them. I like this little thing so much I'm buying another one for my other radios in a different location.

Everything you need to know with disassembly and pictures
I did a lot of research before I decided to buy this one. Unfortunately the demand is high right now for PowerPole type products, and everything is overpriced for what you get. This unit is a good fit for most use cases. It does what it is supposed to do, and over a year with no real issues. I will say the PowerPole connectors on this are not the Anderson brand, and feel a bit cheaper than the original Anderson ones. Maybe I can swap them out? They did beef up the buss bar with a 1mm wire in addition to the board's copper trace so it can handle more amperage. The case is sturdy, and has good mounting options. The board looks well made, and has a good layout. I do like the boots they sent since they already had the hole in the end, but I don't use them much since booted connections sometimes have a hard time mating correctly without trimming the boot back, or sliding it back when connecting them. I do wish I had waited and found a model where the connectors were on the bottom when mounted on its side. This is great for laying on something flat, but when I mount it sideways on my rack, it makes the cables easier to dislodge, and the velcro I am using refuses to stick due to the weight of the cables causes the adhesive to peel off over time due to the angle and the leverage the cables provide against it.

Does the job and decent build
Good price, reasonable shipping time, and build seems fine.I always like individual fuses for each connector, and don't need more extras that consume power. This one seems to meet all my requirements.Haven't tried running 40 amps through the unit, but my power supply is only 35A and nothing I use needs more than 25A with most using much less.

Terrific item
Using it to distribute 12V power for my astronomy equipment. Perfect for the job.

DC電源接続はこれに限る
価格は高めですが、大電流を扱うコードの接続にはこれが一番です。太陽光パネル+バッテリーと安定化電源を切り替えて使い分けるのに使っています。

works as advertised
Je l'utilise depuis presque 3 ans, avec des déconnexions régulières, pas de soucis, ça fait le job. Pas de supports pour le fixer, ça pourrait être rajouté, mais sinon c'est correct.

Great piece of kit and cheaper than other brand names.
Works well, a much cheaper alternative to some MFJ ones. Was easy mount and use.Still hve a couple of spare fuses but it does the job well.
