The Torrey Pines EchoTherm HP30 115V digital hot plate has an 8 x 8 inch white ceramic top plate, a temperature range of 25 to 450 degrees C, and an accuracy of + or - 1%. The white ceramic top plate provides fast heating and resistance to chemicals and scratches. A platinum resistance temperature detector (RTD), feedback, and an LCD readout provide control to 1 degree C, and either the temperature of the plate surface or the solution can be controlled. This hot plate allows for timed operations of up to 100 hours. Temperature ramping provides controlled heating and cooling rates. It has an epoxy-coated cast aluminum base for durability, and a drip edge diverts spills to help protect the internal components. It comes with a detachable line cord. This hot plate is used to heat glassware and liquid solutions for scientific applications.
