My favorite pot! I cook everything in it

amazing product from Meyers. the food cooks fantastic and delicious in the cast iron pot. Its been a while I am using this product and I am fully satisfied. Although it did not came with the insulating handle cover, but overall it is good. As cast iron needs seasoning so I regularly season it with oil and heat it in the gas. I use it daily. It is my go to utensils. Some times rust appears in the sides of the pot but can be easily removed through scrubbing with salt. Food cooking is in no time. It retains heat evenly and for a very long time.

I bought this product with so much hopes ended up feeling so bad that it got rusty within one wash please do not buy and waste your energy behind returning it

Worst iron I've seen ever

Not sure why the rust is coming every time it touch water, normally cast iron stays good if we season it after each time used. This one is rusting and staining food. I requested retuen but nothing happened

Well I was bit skepital about it but after receiving the package it was very sturdy hat’s off. Happy with the package n the product is very heavy but beautiful so loving worth the money spent highly recommended 👍🏻

If you're in the market for a good, sturdy and durable cast iron pot, you're in the right place. Ignore the negative reviews, they're from clueless people who don't know how to maintain their products. Cast iron vessels can be intimidating for a lot of people especially novices who just bought their first one. They need a different type of care compared to your conventional stainless steel or ceramic wares. This pan comes pre seasoned but a lot of people don't realize cast iron wares need to be seasoned and reseasoned after every deep clean or the rust will start to set in. They also need to be kept impeccably dry and stored away from moisture. You need to have that extra layer of oil to be baked in to prevent it from rusting. I bought the biggest 5.2 litre variant of this product and living up to it's high price tag I'm very impressed so far! The pot itself was very hefty as expected from it's cast iron constitution and the base was thick and very well made. There was mittens included in the box and the handles are very solid and made with durability in mind. The surface is grainy but it came preseasoned and performed like a non stick pan while showcasing the heat retaining capabilites of it's heavy cast iron make. Made all sorts of dishes and I'm very satisfied with the way it handled itself on the stove. Overall; if you're looking for a high quality and durable cast iron pot, look no further. It's well worth it's high price tag and with proper care and maintenance, it will easily last you for decades.

Used almost daily since purchase. Easy to use and clean. Love the simplicity style and lid.

It was not pre-seasoned. Once I used it. It got rust all over the pan inside. I had to re- season it to use. Very disappointed.
