Auto Safety Master Opener​

Easiest and best can opener I've ever used. Plus, it opens plastic carbonated drinks bottles, breaks the seals on stubborn jars, opens ring pull cans easily and has a bottle opener as well! I've lost track of the number of cheap AND expensive can openers I've gone through over the years, so finding this amazing item is a dream come true. No sharp edges on the cans or the lids, and because it doesn't use a blade to slice the can open, nothing ever comes into contact with the contents of the tin, so hygiene wise, it's unbeatable. It's also the smoothest and easiest can opener I've come across and has passed the one test that separates the cheapo openers from the best... the metal pies in the tins from the brand that sounds like "Ray Mentos" - these things destroy most can openers, but are easily tamed by these fantastic Swiss creations! I can't say enough good things about this multi-opener from Kuhn Rikon. If you suffer from arthritis and struggle with bottles, jars and cans, this will help immensely. It's SO easy to use and is very well designed and thought out, from the extra leverage it gives when opening a really tight plastic bottle top, down to the little button-operated mini pliers that grip and lift the can lid away and lets you drop it straight in the bin with no mess. Would make a very welcome gift for anyone, I'm sure.

arrived next day and as required - this is a replacement for the same one i already have, this is a great opener which I got on QVC at double the price, but worth it mine is many years old now and has been slipping. so ordered this replacement would very much recommend there are no sharp edges and it is a bottle opener for beer and a plastic water bottle opener, it also releases pressure in jars to make them easier to open too. great tool.

Works a treat

I'm disabled and find this to have been a big help when it comes to opening cans and pulling back tabs, which are both things I usually struggle with. I've only knocked off a star because I've had a few cans where the opener didn't work the first time, so its efficacy isn't super consistent. Also be aware that, since it's of a good quality, it is much heavier than most can openers. The bottle opener on top is also very useful.

This is the King of can openers! Removes the lid of the can completely. Easy on the wrist!

Very good and easy to use can opener

This is the second one I have had.The one being replaced is around 20yrs old .I hope this one will last the same.

This tin opener will open a tin. it does so in a manner lifted from another manufacturer but less elegantly engineered here. Locating and cutting the lid is easy enough but there's no indication when you've completed a 360 degree cut and the tin will appear unopened at this point. You then need to wind the handle back in the opposite direction to get it to release the tin and thereafter try to prise off the cut lid. It feels dangerous and counter intuitive. There are some absolutely ridiculous pincers included in the tool but these add nothing but annoyance to an already tiresome experience. So, yes they work, sort of, but not worth any kind of premium over a host of other designs.

This is by far the best can opener that I've bought. It works extremely well. Highly recommended.

A great addition.

I was able to empty about five different types of openers from my drawer when I bought this one. It comes with instructions on the many ways to use it and has been very helpful. It was getting really difficult to use a standard can opener and this saved me.
