I have a Brother PE770 and the 5x7 hoop that it came with was defective. I called Brother to try and get a replacement but becuz I live in a remote area and the closest approved sewing center to bring the hoop in to so they could check it out, was 3 hours away and not worth the trip to go there in my opinion. I ordered this entire set which was a good bargain I thought considering that to order just the replacement 5x7 hoop was darn near as much as this entire set. The 5x7 hoop now works wonderfully and I can embroider to my hearts content!! I love the 5x12 multi placement hoop for larger work areas, although I did find out much to my newbie dismay, that just becuz I had a larger hoop, did not mean I could now work larger designs. My machine still will not embroider anything over 5x7 but the larger hoops allows me to place multiple designs and keep working without unhooping! I have used the 4x4 hoop as well for smaller designs and have not yet used the smallest round hoop but I am sure that will work great as well. This is a nice set for those who like machine embroidery!!

Good quality hoops at a great price considering there's 4 of them. Fits perfectly on my Brother PE770.

I'm typically a person who likes to buy manufacturers genuine brands of accessories because you typically get what you pay for. However, my local sewing machine store quoted a price of $95 for a genuine Brother 4x4 hoop. This was a box of four for one third of that price with free shipping. I already have the two larger hoops and inly needed the two smaller ones. But, with the pricing on this four-pack I couldn't turn down an opportunity to order and examine them. I am incredibly happy with these and they are every bit as heavy and well-built as the Brother brand hoops.

Overall, good stuff. Works well with the embroidery machine (Brother pe800) two things to be aware of. First, the tightness when clamping down the outer part.. Get them tight or they will loosen in use. Second, the machine bolts that are used to attach the plastic pieces to the metal bar that hooks into the machine. Check them regular. They will loosen on you.Good deal over all.

I ordered these after getting my PE-770 for Christmas. It only came with a 5x7 hoop and I wanted to be able to do smaller projects without wasting stabilizer. I can't use the largest hoop due to machine limitations, but the quality of all the hoops is excellent. It's also really nice to have a second 5x7 hoop, so I can have one ready to drop in the machine as soon as the other is finished. A definite time saver!

I bought these hoops to use on my PE770. They are not a brother product but do fit my machine very well. I bought them mainly to use the larger hoop for spit designs but have yet to use it. I do use the rest of the hoops quite frequently more then I expected too. Very helpful to use the smaller hoops for smaller designs to save on materials and easier placement. They also are very easy to clean and attach easily to the machine.

I've purchased one set of these hoops and attempted to slide them into my Brother PE-770, only to find that the screw holes were just too far apart and resist sliding into my machine. I supposed I could have tried forcing the metal down to see if it would "fit," however I wasn't ready to risk damaging my $700+ machine because this company can't align their screw holes correctly. They do not slide in like my original hoop that came with the machine does.I asked for a refund and a new set of hoops, as I just figured that maybe I got a bad batch considering how high the reviews for these hoops are. However, I just received the second set of hoops today and the only hoop that fit my machine was the 5"x7" (which is ironically the hoop size that came with my machine). So these will be sent back as well. Very unhappy with the quality of these hoops. I am honestly baffled as to why these things have such high reviews. Maybe others shoved the hoops down onto their machines? I am just not willing to risk damage to my embroidery machine when I should have received items that actually fit my machine correctly. I would NOT recommend giving these a try, it's been a waste of a week trying to get hoops that actually fit.
