Fast deivery good price
was perfect for my salt gun. I use the gun to shoot pigeons that try to nest on my bot without killing them. Is a great stress releiver.

Dead Sea Salt
I purchased an Ice Cream maker as a gift, with all the necessary components and ingredients to make a batch of ice cream when the gift was presented. It worked out great and I received a nice compliment for my effort.Although this Morton's salt worked great for the time, I don't believe we will be reordering very soon. I know, salt is salt. Especially unconsumed salt used primarily for melting ice and snow. And it can be obtained quite inexpensively if you connect to the right source. I suppose you could even follow the snow removal vehicles around on a Minnesota winter and obtain salt very cheap. But if you really believe the quality of the salt makes a difference, try some Rive Saline - Fleur de sel.The function of the salt is simple, to rapidly melt the ice that encompasses the container holding the ice cream mixture. Different types of salt may melt the ice and transfer the cold more efficiently, but neither has any relative significance to the taste or flavor of the ice cream.

Sodium chloride mined by highly-payed elves.
So there we were....it was 9pm and my girlfriend and I were walking down the aisles of our local grocery store looking for ice cream salt and there was none to be found. Her son's birthday party was literally looming over the horizon and there were hundreds of other things that needed to be done. There was no time to run around town looking for salt. I checked Amazon to see if there was a time machine for sale. Nope. I checked Kickstarter to see if someone was working on a time machine. Nope. OK, no luck on the simple search for a time machine so my efforts turned to look for ice cream salt, and what do you know? There it is on Amazon, and next day delivery to boot. Perfect!I knew that I was probably paying ten times what I should be, but imagine my relief when I realized I was only paying four times the price, haha.Anyway, it doesn't bother me that much--only enough to knock off one star.If you want some expensive sodium chloride delivered right to your front door, this is the ticket. Look no further. If you have any leads on a time machine, let me know, I want in on that action.

Got Salt?
This box came bigger than expected with no damage. Helped make the best homemade ice cream I've ever tasted, so great quality it is. They give me a chance to rate flavor on here but probably shouldn't cuz I'm pretty sure it says right on the box itself it isn't made for actual human consumption. When I made the ice cream I used it to just melt the ice around the container that held the ice cream. Otherwise good bang for the buck if you can't find it anywhere locally.

Morton Rock Salt
Morton Rock Salt or as we know it, Ice Cream Salt is the only rock salt we use when making homemade ice cream in an ice cream freezer with ice. My family loves homemade ice cream and we make it several times during the summer for special occasions. We make it the old fashioned way but we do use an electric freezer, although we still have a crank one.

I really don't know
When the package arrived I opened it, the box looked as if it was wet or something although it was dry. It seems as if the salt was trying to force itself out of the box because of the indentations on the box. I didn't take it for anything because I never bought it before and the salt wasn't wet based on the fact that I shake it. I eventually toss it in the garbage today because I started to see moth in my pantry which I cleaned today. I decided to open the salt and pour it in ziploc bag when I discover some form of insect inside(hence the reason for tossing it) so I am not sure if the salt was the culprit for the moths appearing or something else. I wish I could have returned it but due to the timeframe of receiving and now, and the fact I toss it. I wish I had taken a photo but I'm not the insect type
