These earplugs from Ear Buddy work as advertised. The silicone material is soft and pliable (akin to silly putty). This allows the plugs to easily moldable and readily conform to any ear shape. As a result, they have excellent fitment and form a good seal -- much better than foam earplugs that tend to expand and/or fall out over time. When inserted properly, I can feel the pressure differential and know they are sealed well. Even though they are heavier than disposable foam earplugs, they are not uncomfortable for extended wear.I have tested these earplugs exclusively for noise reduction and therefore cannot comment on their use during swimming/in water. While I do not have the ability to confirm specific db reduction, I can easily read a book in silence while my wife watches television in the same room. At night, I can sleep with the windows open -- I have not been disturbed by the regular city noises. while wearing the Ear Buddy earplugs. While the packaging recommends only using an Ear Buddy up to 3 times, I have been able to reuse more often without any deleterious effects.Best of all, however, is that Ear Buddy earplugs are made in the USA. Therefore, I can certainly recommend this product for casual use around the house and while sleeping.

The Ear Buddy Soft Silicone Ear PlugsThese silicone ear plugs are a huge improvement over the foam type ear plugs that I’ve tried in the past. With the foam, I never had much success getting a tight enough seal that the ear plugs were very effective, and they often didn’t stay in place for long, The Ear Buddy ear plugs are easily squeezed and molded to fit my ear and they stay in place with a nice, tight seal. I used them while I was cleaning my car with a Shop Vac. I don’t like using the Shop Vac for the very reason that it is so loud, and when it’s inside the car, the sound is amplified. With these ear plugs, the sound was nicely muffled so that I felt my ears were protected from the loud noise. My husband used some when he mowed with the lawn tractor and also reported that they stayed in place and did the job.The ear plugs are reusable for several uses, and can be rinsed off after use. They are small enough to easily take them anywhere you go.

Exactly what I wanted. Of course doesn’t drown out his snoring 100% but I don’t think any would. Ver pleased with them.

Just didn’t cancel out the noise enough to use for sleeping. I’m a midnights worker and use ear plugs to sleep, tbh the foam ones at work, work a lot better than these for sleeping.

I really like these Ear Buddy plugs. I have some of the more traditional foam plugs but these are much easier to use: simply work the plug with your fingers to soften the material, and then press it on along the outside of the ear canal. These have a secure fit and hold, and they provide good sound protection. To remove them, just press the back of the ear and move it around a bit to loosen the plugs and then remove. Super easy to use and very effective.
