Love this. Kept my board from sliding around or flying out at highway speeds. I have a tool box in the bed of my truck and the nose of the board rested on it. Still worked.

Use Every Day
I use this every day for hauling my surfboards or other long items in my truck bed. It protects the bed trim from wax/other damage and protects the boards and other items. Straps are best quality I’ve seen.

Works great - wish it had Velcro
This thing is great. The silicon buckle covers are an awesome addition. I use it on a 2022 Tacoma and although the tailgate is wide up top the cover works excellent. Just wish that the loose strays had Velcro like my leash to keep the loose ends from flapping in the wind. Highly recommend this product.

Fits 2016 F-150
I thought it would be slightly larger and come down more on both sides but you can see in the pictures the 2016 F150 tailgate is pretty thick. I'm assuming some other trucks or smaller trucks have a thinner tailgate. Anyway it still protects my surfboard and keeps it from sliding so it does what it's advertised to do.

The Good:-Easy to use-Fits Toyota Tacoma 2018 tailgate fine (adjustable so should fit any truck)-Compact-SecureThe Bad:-NoneThe Bottom Line:I just used this Ho Stevie! Over the weekend to get my board down to the surf. I have a Tacoma 2018 and the adjustable strap worked great. It was easy to put onto the tailgate and it held my board securely. Overall, I would recommend this tailgate pad for its convenience and performance.

Whoever designs the products for Ho Stevie is gifted at striking a balance between simplicity, quality materials, intended function, and attention to detail. This cover does exactly what it needs to - protects your board, protects the tailgate, secures the board(s). Simple to put on the tailgate, simple to secure the boards and the details like the silicon covers over the strap hardware work as intended to keep from damaging the fiberglass. So many of these are overpriced because they're over designed. I've been using it since the first day I got it with both 1 and 2 boards. Quick and easy!
